That is the point.
The rafale can launch fast and go defensive quickly.
Typhoon and also the Gripen, has to put themselves in a weak defensive position first before using them.
That is the difference of note here. Especially in NE or ARB/ASB scenarios where you also ahve to defend against aircraft and many SAMs.

Good sir, I watched videos of Gunjob deleting whole SAM sites with SPICE bombs and HARM, nothing that the Rafale and the AASM could ever replicate.

Really do not get why the focus on defensive positioning when defensive positioning doesn’t mean jack if you have 0 effect on target. Might as well have enrolled in aerobatics for all the good it did for objectives.

From the stream the leo 2HEL’s thermal seemed a 1st generation one, is it meant to be that one or actually the Ophelios 2nd generation thermal that it actually has in service?

I literally didnt enable the ESM once in NE, because it scanned so slowly, that it was faster and easier to just toggle the seeker on and off until I found the target I wanted. So i dont even know why you are mentioning it.
Its not a soviet aircraft that gets decent ESM built in.
Firing them off at SAMs just didnt work, they always got interecepted.
Spice-250s regardless of anything else, always required you to go subsonic before releasing, which is a chore at best, dangerous at worse.
Which is why i just ran PW4s and used aiming points to ripple release.
Far more effective than Spice-250s for killing things and didnt require me to nerf myself. But I only ran 6-8 usually
