The EMBT being based on the Leopard, I can very much see it going in the Dutch leopard line as well
at this point i have top tier in almost all nations, so just need to grind the new additions, still need to catch up the swiss subtree tho
I would assume that it goes after the Leclerc, unless they reserve the spot for the XLR and other Franco French prototypes (while the EMBT goes to another line). But yes, they probably would folder S21 and AZUR to keep the rule of 3 if it came after the leclercs

Honestly I would not call a a hull from one vehicle with a turret from another vehicle slapped on it “based on” either of those.
I do however have no idea what they’ll put where. They might say that Franco German EMBT (EMBT 2018, 2022 and maybe ADT140) goes into the “Dutch” line (not really a subtree line since it follows French vehicles and prototypes originally), while French only designs goes in the French line (XLR , Leclerc EVO, CAPINT…). Or the Dutch line might only get Leo 2A8 in the future, while the rest goes in the Leclerc line. They have choices

tbh sounds like a pretty good update for French ground, im gonna guess we will see german mains complain the EMBT isnt a big enough upgrade or that its only a side grade to the 2A7V while french players will just be happy to finally get a tank with a good hull
They would need to do some major foldering though since they now have the “only 3 vehicles behind eachother per rank” standard.
Maybe they finally move the S1/S2 to 12.0 so they can be moved to rank VII, meaning there is some free space in rank VIII?
I also wouldn’t put it past them to just place it behind the Vextra.
is there a chance we see more unique indian vehicles in the near future, stuff like zorawar, prachand, and rudra would be nice to see ingame, didnt include arjun mk1a variant, hopefully its gonna arrive ingame with the original version

It’s unlikely, as there are still possible addition after the Vextra, including the VEXTRA POLE, so light tanks with big guns still aren’t finished

I could kinda see the reasoning for it in the dutch line (not saying it isnt dumb reasoning) but i have no idea why it would go to the Vextra line lol

There still being more Big cannon LT doesn’t mean they can’t put the EMBT in that line.
The TKX(P) is also in the Autocannon LT line in the French tree.
Because there is space there, same reason why the TKX(P) is in the Japanese IFV line.
I think they’ll use the space in the dutch line for the future 2A8NL.

Honestly, if gaijin plans to add more prototypes down the line, the Dutch line for the EMBT (that would go to both Germany and France) might make sense. It would leave room for the French only prototypes to go after the leclercs.
So you’d have (not in order), the Dutch line :
Leo 2A5, 6, 8*
EMBT 2018, 2022 and maybe the ADT140
And for the French line :
S1, S2, S21, AZUR And XLR
Leclerc EVO, CAPINT.

Then VEXTRA could have the POLE, and some other prototypes (maybe the Leclerc Terminateur from the 90s). Jaguar has some other 40mm down the line, including the VBCI with the crewlles turret. The tree would be balanced overall across the lines
