@Smin1080p_WT will we see more Strategic Bombers (e.g. Cold War era) and WW1 Content/Vehicles eventually?
Wait a couple of weeks we might see a re-run of the WW1 event with perhaps new rewards
Yes, I am on the edge of my seat waiting for that.
It’s a heavily modified South Korean vehicle, so I don’t see why not? We already have the Vidar in game, which is an export version of the South Korean K9.
Also the KF41 is so bad in game that having no IFV is honestly preferable over having the KF41 if there were no other options.
It’s a stabilised Leopard 1, it is never going to be bad. I was just clearing up the common misconception around these parts that the AS1 is some unique Leopard configuration built only for Australia that isn’t to be found anywhere else, when in reality it is just the Australian name for the Leopard 1A3.
In-fact, of the in-game nations, it was also used by Germany, Greece, and Denmark, so Leopard 1A3s could feasibly end up in almost half the tech trees in-game.
It’s obviously only a matter of time before it ends up in the British tree now that Australia is confirmed as a sub-tree, but I would really hope that the Vickers Mk 1 Improved and Mk 3 Improved are above it in the list. They fill a very similar role (mobile, light, mid-cold war 105mm MBTs), but the Vickers tanks are extremely unique British options that fill out our currently rather sparse in-game export family.
It’s been literally years since we got the last British Vickers Export MBT (VFM5 6 years ago in 2020), and in the meantime we have seen a very large list of foreign MBTs (TTD, T-90, Arjun, 2x Abrams, the upcoming Optimum etc), the balance is currently completely askew as to what is actually getting attention in the British tree.
Just wondering, as someone who’s never played the KF41, what makes it so bad? It seems pretty average for a NATO IFV with a 30mm autocannon, Spike ATGMs, although those type of vehicles arent very strong to begin with
But muh Korea TT lol
Seriously, I don’t know why people think that Korean vehicles operated by other nations shouldn’t be added before a potential Korean TT maybe gets added at some point in the future
There’s your answer lol
Extremely bad crew layout (2/3 crew in the turret (and turret ammo was only made blowout recently)), no protection or survivability, huge, Strikeshield APS being the saddest excuse of an APS to ever grace the game (barely works).
It’s just sad and has no redeeming qualities that try to make up for that.
10.7 (before BR changes) would make sense IF the gun was accurate like it’s supposed to be, the rounds performed like they are supposed to, and the spikes actually aimed for the tank you shoot at. but right now they would barely be good at 10.0
even the ones without the APS and spikes are bad at 9.3
We now have two S-700 class torpedo boats, both battle pass and one R-301 class boat with more cannons as GE vehicle.
When are their tech tree equivalents dropping? We needed more S-boats now we need more R-boats too.
(Definitely not a rant that is because I grinded whole German coastal and need vehicles)
Strikeshield has saved me a couple times before, but it definitely still isn’t enough to off-set the other survivability problems
The Barak IID doesn’t really fit that list tho, a single seat version exists and is even ingame too
I remember being told the F-16D in game was a specific version (a test version or smth?) that was different to the F-16C in game, but I can’t find any information on that anymore. Weird.
Likely a misconception based on the Derbys. The F-16C/D Barak II are Block 40 F-16C/Ds, somewhat modified over the years for Israeli service, but the airframe configuration we have now (excluding armament indicating a later representation) are that of initial service.
At some point in time, a few Block 30 Barak Is were loaned to Rafael to be used as testbeds for the Derby (and purely that, they were never used by the IAF, which is why they aren’t seen on the F-16I), which is what gaijin used to add them to the Block 40s ingame despite it being different aircraft (this was back when ARH was first being added and the Israeli tree literally had no other ARH option). Both have Derbys ingame, but shouldn’t really be considered testbeds since they’re still the same base models.
The C and D ingame are identical IRL, aside from the obvious two seater difference hosting the spine (and from what I’ve read some other electronic warfare feature in that spine). They should have the same armament capabilities as well, but gaijin gave the C model ahistorical HARMs and AMRAAMs for some reason.
baz meshupar?
Iirc It was added the same update that ARH were introduced, however for the initial ARH missile testing phase there were no Israeli aircraft available other than the potential Barak IID with Derbys. Both the Baz Meshupar and the Derby for the F-16D Barak II got added that update.
I’m going to hope and cope that the leaked F/A-18D and JAS39 packs are going to their home countries.
F/A-18D Late (maybe USMC?) → USA (being 14.0 now that top tier is 15.0)
JAS39C (maybe Czech?) → Sweden
I’d be very disappointed if the JAS39 ended up being a B/D/F. No gun is just ultra lame.
