NGL I’ve wondered for a bit on what is the in universe reason for the WT matches taking place.
Is it a digital simulation? Alt history? Mercenaries fighting states/eachother? Military vehicle Airsoft (hence why unarmoured crew becomes unconscious and not atomised when hit by a strumtiger + no logistical problems)?
Maybe I’m just overthinking…
I think its better for there to not be a reason. The only parts that need stories are silly events

I guess so, I just thought it woud it cool to see the in game reasoning on why the average team comp looks like an ace combat air force rather than irl militaries.
The price at which event vehicles appear on the market reflects the fact that they hold no interest whatsoever for players. If these were vehicles that players actually desired, the price would be different. The question is: why does Gaijin keep introducing vehicles in which 99% of the player base has absolutely no interest? (I didn’t say 100% only because, in reality, there are a few people who do like them.)

It’s because these GE vehicles are historically cheap because they’re super easy to get, that’s why much older and build a bear event vehicles tends to be higher due to the effort.
Even more interesting ones end up with low prices, people just don’t value their time enough lol
The only that fetch big prices are the ones that over perform and/or are extremely hyped

What vehicle would you introduce for a Finnish event?
I’ve read a theory before that it’s a bunch of really rich people buying war vehicles for their rich people games and fighting with them, and that’s why vehicles need to be spaded, and crew can only be “knocked out” but never “killed”.
