People still are constantly bashing those three trees for having too much copy-paste.

Why? Have you ever looked at Sweden, Finland, or Norways primary environment? It’s almost entire useless for non naval helicopters
Not like Finland is worried about Sweden attacking again lmao

I’ve only seen people bash copy-paste in trees like Germany and France, where there are domestic options available but are not added because it costs money.
I guess bro. Either way, all the jets you mentioned were added as event vehicles or pack premiums. I was mainly looking at tech tree vehicles when I said that, but congrats dud you won the internet argument!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Small price to pay. In serious note though naval is our biggest concern and a large majority of our lands (minus us) are hills and valleys or thick forests. Naval is our biggest threat realistically
As for the helicopters we at the time didn’t order M299 rails for our helicopters and Gaijin hadn’t looked at Denmark to fill gaps. The MI-28 could’ve been replaced by our Fennec as a 9.3-.7 helicopter and now with us getting Hellfires that gives Sweden a 10.3 esq helicopter that’s actually in service, no need for the AHS or MI-28 realistically if gaijin cared about balance they would’ve properly implemented swedish jets and their munitions.
Yeah true
Depends if said sight was an option that can be selected/deselected, or if the removal was done only and specifically for the needs of a nation. There’s a difference between just offering a low-spec off-the-shelf option and making a specific variant to fit the needs of a nation.
But these would be the weird edge cases, mainly I am talking about things like actual national variants. So in your Oplot example, the Oplot-P is a Pakistani variant that I think should be added to Pakistan, while the Oplot-M is just a rejected off-the-shelf product.
Oplot-P
still they cant replace the AHS and Mi-28 if they are that BRs, don’t Swedish mains want more advance helicopters? i have seen some weirdos even asking for the polish AH-64E
no :(
There’s a few, like the C-3604 (Swiss), CA-27 Mk.32 (Australia), WM-23 (Hungary) or Fokker G.IA (Netherlands) and more. And on top of entirely unique aircraft like those, there’s significant variants like the Mirage IIIS C.70, F-5TH or Héja I/II as well.
They do tend to be lazy sometimes for subtrees, like adding the Alpha Jet TH Phase 1 to avoid adding the unique cockpit of the second stage upgrade, and poor priorities like adding the major domestic Finnish aircraft outside of the techtree before they were allowed a proper line, but there is still unique stuff.
Thats simply not correct. We pay the modeller for their work / model. Revenue Share program | War Thunder Wiki
People always cry about things, sometimes for better or for worse reasons, but when they cry about a vehicle with “Norway” literally as part of the name being added to Norway I think it’s perfectly fair to ignore them.
Any interesting naval helicopters that could be added, or is it only unarmed / torpedo only helis?
Okay name one swedish main who is an common sight on the forums and talks a lot and is asking for the AH-64E? Every nation has one offs but I don’t know anyone in the Nordic server who is wanting a AH-64E.
I mean we can’t really be upset at not having something we simply don’t use, we do want our equipment fixed or implemented correctly to make up for a lack of helicopters
Dumb bombs, torps, and penguins
That doesn’t sound too bad. With Nuclear Escalation planned to include helis there might actually be a place for some armed with ASMs
Indeed, people are already crying about this update.
But then again, every War Thunder player outside of the forums has forgotten what a variant is (and many here as well, thinking about it)
Danish fennec with tows, swedish seaknight with torps and dumb bombs. Danish MH-60R with hellfire some others I can’t think of rn
