It’s honestly really surprising there haven’t been any update devblogs yet. They’re on a time crunch, and they really need to get stuff out. They have no choice but to announce DCT a week from today, on Friday the 23rd, as waiting an additional week would be a significant delay, which they likely cannot afford if two further events are to be between DCT and the Winter event. And unless they’re okay with having the trailer release after the DCT announcement, they must release the update trailer next week, most likely on Thursday the 22nd.
By this reasoning, I expected devblogs to start this week or the previous one, so seeing nothing of the sort so late is surprising.

Based on?
Update normally releases mid/2nd or 3rd (if delayed) week November, a week later* by your predictions. The flood starts next week 🌊

not really, we had DCT that started mid November, but i also hope its next week together with the firsts dev blog
Based on (1) the pattern of the previous two years and (2) the fact that DCT announced on the 23rd would start on the 30th and run for a couple weeks into November, likely ending around November 13th. This leaves only a month and a week to fit two events prior to the start of the Winter event, each taking a couple weeks and requiring at least a few days in between. They really have no room to delay the event schedule here.
Perhaps earlier DCT events did that, but consider the previous two years:
2024:
Update Trailer: Thursday, October 24th
DCT Announcement: Friday, October 25th
DCT Start: Friday, November 1st
2025:
Update Trailer: Thursday, October 23rd
DCT Announcement: Friday, October 24th
DCT Start: Friday, October 31st
By this pattern, we should have update trailer on the 22nd, DCT announcement on the 23rd, and DCT start on the 30th.

Just remember that past dates are not Gospel for what’s to come just so we don’t get loads of comments saying “well someone said that it should be by X or Y date”.
Example off
