Even an Iberian Tree with LATAM as a sub-TT would probably make more sense than Italy for it.

You will get Hungarian upgraded Gripen C at best and maybe also some modern Romanian F-16MLUs.
PS considering Italy most likely wouldn’t get more than one plane in the update, I would rather have some of multiple Italian props missing, maybe bombers, since it’s a good time to play them after a DM buff.

Ok after playing the Hawk T 1 for a bit I can tell you that it’s not worth it at 7.7, I think it should be at 6.7 myself

Still a shame it cant get a 25mm ADEN pod, that would be enough.
But the other option would be to jsut accept the reports for extra wing pylons and make it a better ground pounder

Yeah, like you get out turned by everything and get out ran by stuff too.
Rockets ha if you can call it them that only get you a couple of light target kills like static spaa’s or howitzers. The gun you just instantly run out of ammo which is why I think the missiles are needed, I mean it’s only two not like it’s going to dominate a match is it ?
But the flight performance as I said you can’t out turn things and you can’t catch up with things either.

i mean. if it gets put at 6.7 and you play it well there is literaly nothing anyone can do cause nothing will be faster than you. and as for ammo the albatros and yak-15 get less trigger time.

but yeah, go down in br quite possibly needs that. havent played it so cant entirely say myself, but a full br down i can say would be too much

that would instantly throw it up to like 9.7 at the lowest. (lowest aim9L rn is 10.0 afaik, lowest uncaged seeker missile is 9.3) Not sure that would make it much better with what it would face there.

Which is why putting down to 6.7 might be more sensible without the missiles lol
i feel like 7.3 or 7.0 is a more reasonable step than down to seal club 5.7 props and super early jets at 6.3-6.7

is it just me, or do the F4U lates wings come off really easily, had a singular AP .50 cal round hit it in the thickest part of the Spar, and completely took it off, with no previous damage to speak of as the previous bomber i engaged i took out its rear gunners before getting real close
after further investigation, instead of going through and through my wing, the round went through the front wing spar, hit my wing control line, bounced down, and hit the back of the wing spar breaking off my wing
Yeah what to do with LATAM is difficult. They have lots of unique vehicles.
Adding in something like Iberia would actually allow for a pretty well-rounded tech tree… but it’d make just as much sense as giving Algeria to France, which is to say, it really only works from a eurocentric viewpoint
I’ve only run into two or three people who want Algeria as a French subtree, otherwise I think the general consensus is that it doesn’t make sense, it would just be another vector for copy-paste to the French tree, and it wouldn’t fill many capability gaps in the French tree that domestic designs couldn’t fill
Most trees did not need their sub trees anyway. Germany and France are two examples, even though their mains often argue that x stole y from them
