I personally doubt we’ll see 5th gens this year. I would expect the December update to come with EW and next generation of AAMs (Meteor, A120D-3 etc) in addition to the RCS modelling things Gaijin mentioned (can’t remember if that was stated for next major or just at some point this year) with only a handful of major aircraft added - E/A-18G and such.
5th gens just don’t make too much sense without having those features first, and it’d make little sense imo to add them in a content update with such little time for tweaking and fine tuning before the next.
I could be totally wrong though, given if Gaijin announce they’re going to do 5th gens December update I’d imagine there’s a lot of money to be made rather than some random point in the year 🤷
IRCCM missiles were introduced and slowly tweaked/tuned until its current version
(If you think I’m lying, it’s taken months for the FOV reduction while still on pylon to be added meanwhile existing AIM-9M reports for its IRCCM are still in the “Accepted” void)
Yeah, that’s what I meant - it’d make little sense to add stuff that requires so much tweaking & tuning and then add a completely new generation of aircraft in the next update.
Though I don’t know if looking at it from a logical point of view is a particularly intelligent idea given track records…
