Are you basing radar performance solely on gimbal limits? How does actual track performance compare? Also, I think there’s potential for an AESA overhaul or even radars in general for the future when things like RCS will matter more. That might widen the gap when it comes to radar performance.
To be fair, I gave EF a few shots in NE specifically as a multirole platform (4 A2G-exclusive pylons arent there for nothing), and while it is a great platform, it is infuriatingly annoying to use as such. Subsonic release FNF munitions and brimstones with 40-50 sec. ETA at practical ranges just arent it, compared to peers.

For all intents and purposes infinite range - but easy intercepts for basically anything. A single AI SAM routinely intercepts 4 out of 4 as if its nothing, so whats even the point? Can hope for low observability though.

Pleeease just give us MMW guidance on Brimstone’s that’d make dealing with SHORADs that tiniest bit easier. Give RU those long range GROMs. Replace some of the frontline SHORAD with MANPADs.
