Sometimes the way they talk about BOL would have you believe a single drop of BOL flares would fry the seekers of every IR missile on every plane in the match before they are even launched.

As per Gaijin it was aerodynamic test, they didn’t actually wired it to be used.
The SU-30SM2 is better, the problem is that the more games a vehicle is played, the lower the stats tend to be while the inversely is true, the lower games a vehicle is played can skew the stats towards higher. The Su-30SM2 currently is the most spammed out vehicle in top tier.

Even the German Typhoon is performing better than the Su-27SM2 and neither the Typhoon or the Rafale are forced to engage in longer ranged combat where the missile count of the SM2 has the upper hand.
Yes, that’s correct, and that’s what I’m talking about - there’s no evidence outside of O&T frankenjets that the EX can currently employ munitions on its CFTs.
Honestly would like Gaijin to stop adding aircraft that are so soon into their service life and focused on alternatives such as EW etc. They cocked up the JAS39E massively and I’m expecting the same is going to happen to the 15EX.
Edit: Air National Guard may have used AG munitions on CFTs a few days ago actually
The combined amount of Typhoon spawns gets the Typhoons pretty much on the same amount of spawns as the Su-30SM2 and they still are performing way better.
Here convolute Gaijin logic kicks in - F-15EX was advertised and showroomed with CFTs, tests on franken version also suffice.
The Su-30SM2 has the upper hand in closer ranges more than anything. The gimbal limits of its radar + insane pull, kinematics and no angle limitations on the R-77-1 mean that it can keep firing missiles at you while notching your missiles. It never has to make itself vulnerable to fire back, and it has more missiles than you.
One word: Gripen
It’s going to be solely up to the whims of Gaijin what the 15EX gets, really. It’ll either be tons or barely anything imo

Gripen (C + E) has a huge number of munitions it’s been showroomed and advertised with that Gaijin outright refuse to add - even when the same brochure is provided that got other munitions added before.

Adding EW and other features unfortunately doesn’t provide monetary return on investment while spamming vehicles do. So long as the typical people fanboy out hard over every new addition then they’ll keep doing this.

Absolutely. I’m expecting Gripen E (Late) at this point just so they can feature the Gripen E in a trailer this time.

Not saying this is inaccurate to irl, it is accurate, but it really just wasn’t a tank fit for WT and was never made to actually be anything more than a demonstration of cooperation)
If only the EMBT could go turret down, however that would work

Well, I get you but showroomed things are kinda up to Gaijins will. Also you can’t possibly compare export munition compatability (MICA/SPICE etc. for Gripen) and F-15s unique CFTs, if you have at least semblence of common sence you won’t apply same rules for both. Compatible export munitions are added if Gaijin feels like it would help vehicle to gain capability that would benefit gameplay.
Gaijin have been more obtuse about less. We’ll see in the next few months :shrug:
Basically, “what if we took the worst parts of both vehicles and then added it together”. I sincerely hope everyone who got hyped over this take a serious look at themselves and stop getting hyped over every single little new thing. There’s some people who are guilty of this and need to stop this cycle, which just rewards Gaijin.
