Ground launched AAM performs worse than air launched? Woah, shocker
thats like AIM-7M to AIM-7P, next gen is like AIM-7M to AIM-120A
The C-7 in-game has the same missile stats as the C-5, regardless of ground or air launched.
sure thing.
Okay, and? That’s Gaijin’s fault, not mine. A correct implementation of the C-7 is still yet to come to aircraft.
what does the C-7 improve then afaik its at best guidance nothing kinematic, only other C-variant you could argue for kinematic improvement on is the C-8 and even that is kinda a really far stretch
Beginning with the
AIM-120C-7 the missile has an enhanced motor with an additional 5 inches of propellant and is commonly referred to as the
“+5 rocket motor”.
So when Swedes, Brits, Italians, and Japanese are going to get more interwar and WWII anti-air. Since, honestly still waiting for the Japanese Milk truck with the 75 mm anti-air gun, the Type 11.
People said the exact same thing about the F-15C GE and it’s MRML, and look where we are now.
I’m not saying the F-15EX IS going to get MRML, but saying that it definitely isn’t is just as foolish. Neither side has any more proof than the other.
True, that’s why I’d love to see more big cannon MBTs (130/140/152mm)
well, the same extra R-77 Su-27SM got, the Su-30SM’s also got, so it shows these things carry over. same with regular and AESA EFT both getting extra missiles
The AESA EFT didn’t exist in game before double racks were added.
Take it up with ACC.
The EFT point blank then, I misspoke, sue me
FTFY
With an aircraft that could easily be a 14.7 while the PoBIT sits at the same BR
lmao what? Are questionable memories attributed solely to AI now? Think you need to get off the internet for a bit and engage with real people again.
Yes and no.
The 15C GE justifyably a lower than the Su-30SM2, AESA EFT and Rafale, but at the same time it really shouldn’t be lower than the J-15T and J-16.
Sure. It could be a 14.7 but most of the rest of the 14.7s could also comfortably be 15.0s.
PoBIT and Super Hornet shouldn’t be at the same BR, though. Don’t know who at Gaijin thought that was a good idea.
