Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion

Did I miss a DoD DLC? Since when was this possible

Also to the rest of your reply, probably not. Let her relax in 8.3 or whatever her BR is

Afaik it was said that helis will eventually be part of NE in some capacity (unrelated to the logistic stuff that BVVD said this week)

JASSM - Strength from a Distance | Lockheed Martin share.google

Imagine spawning at main airfield in a helicopter. Thats a long way to fly xD

(Luckily we aren’t forced to spawn there)

Not enough proof, and from the source (or at least, the closest one I could find) it was scrapped to give it those + GBU-53

Besides. The F-117 is extremely limited. Just wait for its son. 😉 Lots of JASSM there

most likely some FOB stuff like we have in regular ground matches. Naval helis and eventual unarmed logistic, I have no idea tho.

Maybe

Would be good, many helis are DOA in GRB, and having to play the tanks first sucks.

but we’ll have to wait and see if it happens

Does make me wonder if transport vehicles will be mode exclusive and pre unlocked for the mode like drones or free vehicles in ground

literally anything is better than PVE, especially since Gaijin is seemingly unwilling to work on the mode due to the low player count. I mean even ground assault arcade is more effective.

Or if they are going to add a resupply mechanic in GRB. Some SAMs would really benefit from that.

Yeah, Ive tried to like that gamemode. I like helis… I just cant… its just unplayable

Yeah like the SMSV for Russia

Yeah… would be impossible to resupply for any other nation at top tier

Realistically though depending on how gaijin implements it you will actually be more of a hindrance than a helper when playing some SPAA.

Let’s say they implement it as 4 full reloads.

Great for vehicles with a lot of inate missiles but vehicles with low ammo count are gonna tear through your supply.

If they set it as a base amount of ammo certain vehicles will chew through it resupplying a singular launcher either way it’s gonna need some testing

Id switch to a supply point system, with each missile, crate of bullets, crate of shells, etc costing X amount of supply points in the logistics vehicle.

Then it doesnt matter the capacity of the ground vehicle

Also means the transport vehicles themselves can have different capacities

For naval helis they could always just be allowed to spawn on the carriers. Or they could even model some amphibious assault ships as an extra spawn point specifically for naval helicopters or even for naval VTOL jets.

For cargo helicopters they could just also be allowed to spawn on airfields but also just have the same (or new) helipads that are seen in GRB.

Eh it will if gaijin determines performance of missile via stats rather than how it actually performs.

Say the Pantsir SMSV, good anti munitions vehicles and decent anti air vehicle but it’s never gonna be on par stat wise for something like 9X which when we have vehicles like Spyder and such with only IR missiles then gaijin will likely make their missiles more expensive which then hinders their ammo count compared to others.

Again it’s all contextual and this will need a more stable ground work laid out by the snail before we really have a solid view as to a resupply trucks performance in game.

Maybe next update gaijin should invest more than 10 dollars into their servers so i dont get 30% packet loss randomly

I was just htinking more like

Missile = 100 Supply points. Period

So if something can only hold 4 additional missiles, it only consumes 400 Supply points. If takes 16, it consumes 1600

The Heli might then hold 5000, and its a fair share between SAMs

True but all missiles have different performance especially on some vehicles. Again this just bleeds missiles to worse SPAA but if it’s all a nation has you can’t help it.

@Smin1080p_WT . Since Datamining js showing the possibility of allowing players to bring their own vehicles to Infantry matches. Is there a possibility that there woukd be a minimum required BR for what vehicles that can be used? This is probably a question you cant fully answer but i would like to know for certain
