You are under-estimating War Thunder’s gameplay loop.
I mean, relistically, that would stop them? Su-35 would be top dog as Su-30SM2 displayed. So, unless Snail changes J-16 by giving it it rightful advanced A2A missiles - PLAAF Su-35 with R-77M is a safe bet as their new top dog

@Smin1080p_WT Hi correct me if im wrong but gaijin states that if an aircraft is in 2 tech tree and technically and practically the same aircraft as the other one, both can get the same armament no matter the balance factor?
Maybe behind as attacker/CAS in some cases. China (in game) lacks spammability of Western armmament or sheer power of the Soviet/Russian

In game it would be the same but I’m fairly certain that some very knowledgeable people here once told me there are a few small differences between the VVS Su-35S and the PLAAF Su-35
