I’m not really a big fan of Swiss vehicles but I’m around a lot of French mains who do want Swiss vehicles.
Their reasoning is this:
- Swiss vehicles have a lot of influence from French designs
- Swiss vehicles wouldn’t add much to Germany that Germany doesn’t already have while offering France variety
- Some contend that Swiss vehicles influenced or derived from French designs should go to France while Swiss vehicles that had been influenced or derived from German designs should go to Germany, so a divide rather than placing Swiss vehicles all in one location.

Can you remind the French then that they have the Benelux please, two nations with heavy importers of German equipment which are already in game. They saying that about the Swiss while still having the Benelux is hypocritical

I would consider myself part of “french mains” and i’m only aware of some minor controversy on the swiss tree, but nothing about any “France occupied” map, so i’m not too sure what is going on

For benelux, there was a lot of post about not wanting many german vehicles copy paste because the french tt would become Germany 2.0.

Personally, as someone who was involved in this debate, I was in favor of germany getting BeNeLux and France getting Switzerland.
But I’m also not peeved about it now, it’s fine

Thex have like 3 actual french vehicles afaik and most of the french stuff they use was never intended or used by/for the french army
Aka purely export
- A lot of the same French mains have been advocating for a Swiss subtree for France long before Benelux became a thing.
- A lot of them also didn’t care for Benelux and didn’t mind it going to Germany, if anything some advocated for Benelux going to Germany as it would provide variety more to Germany than it would to France.
- They see Germany having vehicles from multiple countries, so they do not discount Swiss vehicles going to France even if France has a subtree on the same premise unless you believe Germany should be treated better or differently than France.

I’m fine with the French having the Benelux and properly some future African sub, but wanting the Swiss Germany has so few options especially since gaijin doesn’t want to add Poland and Argentina as sub nations to Germany. The Swiss is already part of Germany by gaijin logic so by gaijin own logic they should ignore them and tell them they already got the Benelux
