Gonna be interesting to see, if they can actually deliver something great or if a lot of those plans will end up like prior big plans like the ability to construct stuff in ground battles lol

Transport vehicles seems interesting.
Long ago a person was called silly for saying transport and ammo vehicles were silly but now they have a purpose for a game mode

For now I’d expect those things to be limited to NE as special spawn vehicles, similar to drones in ground battles
Maybe later they will find ways for them to be useful outside of NE
The possibility of properly armed transport vehicles has always been there and we already have a couple of vehicles that can work as transport vehicles
Still not a fan of doing drones that way. Should’ve just been integrated with the helicopter techtree.
Seems so weird that the vehicle collection game misses such an opportunity to add vehicles to collect.

Yeah I figure they’ll be special vehicles exclusive to the game mode, but some people will want them as actual vehicles to customize

I think them being special, separate spawns is a good thing (though they should never have been added in the first place)
It would be nice to be able to decorate them though

We’ve had two modes with submarines in the game already and cargo ships have been present since the early times

They’d be just another vehicle type if they weren’t special though, it wouldn’t make them any more powerful if they got appropriate BRs like any other aircraft or helicopter. I think they could’ve even kept the kill reward if they really wanted the ATGM airspawn to be available (not a fan personally, but they’re free SAM targets at least)
Personally I just think there’s far too many interesting models and variants and even different roles with many even equipped for air to air, that we are missing out on completely.

Rafale got it’s hammers nerfed the second a version got added to the Israeli tree.
MOAB wont be better than b2 with bunk busters which I have no idea how those will work or if they should be added
Oh, I’m not saying that more variety or the ability to unlock others wouldn’t be cool
I’m just saying that the current implementation is pretty much the best approach for what they wanted drones to be:
CAS for players that don’t have planes at high BRs
