Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion (Part 1)

CCIP while not entirely realistic is the way they chose to impliment the gyro autopilot it has

It doesn’t need CCIP for the gyro autopilot to work

It wouldn’t be realistic either for it to drop this think on a tank as the majority will do, this think was for fortifications and infrastructure, not even ships if I remember correctly. So yea we sacrifice realism for better experience all the time

Iirc the mistel carriers also had some form of special sight in the cockpit for aiming it did they not

To me it seems that they just use it for the crosshair on 3rd person, which is as unrealistic in both cases,

Yeah, they had a sight that you should be using to aim

It shouldn’t have a third person crosshair

Its unrealistic for literally every aircraft that has it considering you cannot view your plane from the 3rd person in real life

Fortifications, convoys and ships were targets and they were trying to adapt it to work as a Pulkzerstörer (bomber convoy destroyer) as well.

Im sorry for what?

Is this an air to air nuke 1945 edition?

wym?

What were they trying to do fly it into the center of a bomber formation and radio detonate it?

Same thing as other nations tried to do with large anti-bomber rockets, send it roughly into the middle of the convoy and have it explode via a timed fuze, proxy fuze or remote detonation

Suspiciously plane shaped air to air missile

I love the pro realistic camp, if they removed the CCIP you lot will be complaining that it will be useless

Does this mean we can technically get the He-111s V1 bomb now

That already was a possibility before the Mistel got announced

edit: actually, considering the V-1s guidance was pre-set to a specific direction using a magnetic compass with a pre-determined range through analog mechanisms, it still is unlikely to be added

More like selective realism, as it is “unrealistic” to use the 3rd person ccip crosshair on this but not for the ccip itself

WT Mobile 's Halloween event starts tomorrow, so they’ve added the vehicles for that AND their major update a few days after.

The event prize ship is confirmed as the Tegethoff class SMS Viribus Unitis

Part of the Halloween event will be a rerun of the sailing ship event, so it 's fitting that the major update following the release of the event will, in addition to INS Lahav, also feature HMS Trafalgar (S107)

Additionally, the update will introduce " clans " ( squadrons ), the initial " clan vehicles " unlocked by joining and playing in clan battles are already in the files:

The Slava-class will use the P-1000 Vulcan, but the P-500 Bazalt is also in the files unused.
WT already has a ship which used that missile historically

WTM had the controls for split countermeasures added before WT did, and it seems this year they’ll be testing them alongside AAM 's in their version of the Night Witches Po-2 race.
This time there 's this fascinating file reference randomly placed among the unguided rockets

Which may or may not be another example of Mobile getting something before WT does.

I mean, we technically have LOAL in regular WT, you can dumb launch Hellfires, Mokopas and L-UMTAS missiles and keep the laser disabled until you want (or rather need) to start guiding them
