There are still a few gen 4.5s to go(F-15EX, F-16-70, Su-35S/SK, J-11BG, hornet block 40 etc), I would say a big maybe for december, more likely to be the main content in next june/july update
What would that add over current Hornets?
Given that the last BP that has an American vehicle is 10 seasons away, I speculate that would be the case, likely an aircraft, I would put a blind guess here it is the XTB2D skypirate(shoutout to all 2 FDR mains in world of warships)

Aside from F-15, F-16 and Su-35 (idk where you get the -SK from), the others are basically side grades to already existing aircraft

I personally doubt we’ll see 5th gens this year. I would expect the December update to come with EW and next generation of AAMs (Meteor, A120D-3 etc) in addition to the RCS modelling things Gaijin mentioned (can’t remember if that was stated for next major or just at some point this year) with only a handful of major aircraft added - E/A-18G and such.
5th gens just don’t make too much sense without having those features first, and it’d make little sense imo to add them in a content update with such little time for tweaking and fine tuning before the next.
I could be totally wrong though, given if Gaijin announce they’re going to do 5th gens December update I’d imagine there’s a lot of money to be made rather than some random point in the year 🤷

Not really. No one outside of China has F-16 Block 70 that can be added to WT.
Su-35 is used by exactly 2 nations in two different configs.
J-11BG is a poor man’s J-16
Hornet Block 40 is basically the early (not even Super, apparently) hornet, another redundant copy of the F/A-18A/C
