Arjun just needs the ammo rack fix…

I don’t understand how it can still be broken even with the acknowledgement of the staff.

THEY themselves said that the bustle would be the first to be used because it’s the most convenient.

That means being the first to be used… but also the first to be filled.

Yet, ingame, as of now, the TURRET FLOOR one is the first to be filled. If you load 10, 11 or 12 shells… you get the FULL FLOOR rack, while the BUSTLE remains HALF-EMPTY.

Can’t they see how little sense that makes even for their own statements? @Smin1080p_WT , I know we talked about this, but you didn’t see my latest replies where this logic is explained.

If the bustle rack is the most convenient one, why is it left half-empty in favour of the terrible floor rack? Shouldn’t the bustle rack be the one always prepared, instead of being left with empty slots while the inconvenient floor is still filled with shells?

If the filling order can not be changed, then the floor rack should not be considered first-order. You should be able to remove the floor rack by loading less shells.

I made a bug report, but it was closed off before I could explain this logic as a reply.

This single-handedly killed off any hype or interest I had for the tank. Permanent one-hit death button on the center of mass for no reason at all.

Ive already do so with M908 as well. Im sure any SAP with sufficient pen will work tbh.

The counter argument is that it’s too strong to add when it would basically only be a powered AGM-154 (based on how the AGM-154 works in Nuclear Escalation) 🫠 and most jets only get like 2 of them max.

To be blunt: why are you showing the hull to anyone? Any hit to the hull is probably going to take out the crew anyway as the driver, gunner, and commander sit in a perfect line.

Like you should be playing it like a challenger 1, hull down and plinking.

The Arjun itself is also just a suprisingly good tank.

Not quite on the level of the 4 best MBTs at 10.7 imo, but it’s still incredibly good.

Not everyone plays Ground spending the entire match hidden behind a hill or rock xD

Hitting the side where the crew is found, yes; but center or opposite side shots don’t generally lead to crew anihilation, specially if Full+Expert (less damage from spalling), while ammo will always explode.

Honestly? I’d put it up there, mostly just cause the PCB is hilariously fun, you can kill pretty much anything by hitting the hull sides or turret roof (as long has there’s not too much ERA of course). But personally I’m not much of a meta chaser so fun factor is a bigger indicator on what I consider “good”

Assuming that everyone who performs better than you plays ground “spending the entire match hidden behind a hill or rock xD” is something.

The best way to improving one’s own in game performance is introspection, just leaving that here.

If they give it it’s terminal IIR guidance then it should be much better than the JSOW we already have. Sure you can’t carry as many but you have the advantage of being able to fire from longer range and able to re-arm quicker too since you won’t be travelling as far from your airfield.

If you bring a vehicle into a situation where it’s strengths are pointless and it’s weaknesses are extremely easy to exploit, I don’t think you should be surprised when it doesn’t do well.

To be fair, I was really close to putting it up there myself. So I do see where you are coming from and do agree for a large part (although I haven’t used PCB myself yet).

Why do you always talk about “performance”?

I was asked “why don’t you hide your hull”, I said “not everyone plays in a permanent hull down”, that’s it.

You always bringing up skill, performance, stats and whatever is getting… tiring.

This is completely ignoring how half the maps are urban and flat with little to no chance of muh hull down.

Maps and modes are designed to play the objectives, which involves advancing. Sure, you can spend the entire match in a corner of the map racking up kills and it will look great on the stats, but I find that boring and unengaging.

You BOTH are missing the point, though. I am talking about a purely technical aspect of a tank which is objectively wrong and you feel the need to bring out playstyles and performance or whatever?

How about actually addressing the objective technical aspect instead?

When you make this comment:

Of course I’m going to fire back, because it’s just stupid. And you have made the same remark a couple of times now.

It’s wrong and should be fixed, yes.

However you are making it seem like it’s a massive handicap that completely ruins the vehicle and makes it bad, which is just wrong. It’s barely an inconvenience. (although it’s illogical so I do agree that it should be fixed).

Type 69-IIa is one of my top vehicles rn because of the APHE, soon to use the SAP on the VT-5 too

Do you need to go to specsavers? One of the few things gaijin is good at in map design terms is putting debris piles or objects at hull height all around most maps.

Then that should be it.

I don’t care about skill. I don’t care about performance. I don’t care about playstyles and I certainly don’t care about stats.

I could be Jane Warthunder and I’d say exactly the same:

I only care about vehicles being properly depicted and without issues.

So I don’t get why all of the former matters needs to be brought up every time I talk about objective technical aspect issues.

Advance when it’s safe to do so, remain hull down when it isn’t.

Play tanks that are better suited for your playstyle then.

Because, while it is true that the ammo shouldn’t be in the hull, it isn’t a detriment at all when you play hull down. It actually is can be beneficial lol

I just like silly HE rounds tbh, HESH & HE my beloved

Like Arjun would be if not for the wrong ammunition placement?

Not every map gives you the chance. There are many urban and city maps, etc.
