Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion (Part 1)

Hahahah.

After getting EMBT, I find it cool, but it certainly would be much more exciting with DM53, or even DM63. Then, it would signify an actual leap in capabilities rather than barely being a sidegrade.

I feel like, since 2020, we’ve barely got sidegrade after sidegrade. Hell, maybe even since 2019.

We’ve got MBTs 20-30 years more modern, but they still feel exactly the same as the ones added all those years ago.

Them holding back munition choices (DM63, DM73, SHARD…), mismodelling shells (DM53 and others missing their anti-ERA tip, etc), refusing to model armor properly (2A7s having pre-2A5 prototype values, SEPv3 not even reaching 1990s values, CR2s/ZTZ-99As missing spall liners, Merkava Mk.4s general existence, Leclerc’s UFP) and not modelling technologies such as APUs, FCSs, etc, in any way… is what makes even 2020s MBTs play and feel exactly the same as 1990s ones.

M829A3 was a step in the right direction, and it took long enough…
