Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion (Part 1)

Why the heck shouldn’t we get our vehicles back when we literally paid for those decades ago?

Tech-tree-uniqueness?

If we follow your call, even though the P-400 might not have been born if Whitewall didn’t order those or 37mm didn’t take the embargo. We shouldn’t get the Aeracobra Mk. 1 because it will be copy-slop, no?

just to be clear i am not advocating for south sudan to be added as a US subtree, its just a general example of a nation that only takes from other tech trees, whether it hypothetically gets added as a subtree or standalone tree

why the heck shouldn’t we get our vehicles in our tech tree when we literally designed and made them decades ago

Australian vehicles had been in the British tree long before anything american in origin was added, predating even 4th gen fighters, so using that as something to argue on seems like a mute point honestly

those had more connections to the UK or at least little to no connection the US, stuff like F-111C or F/A-18 and M1 is very clearly connected more to the US than UK

Skink wasn’t designed by USA, and wasn’t built by USA. Still, you blokes somehow got it.

Good thing I am not talking about the skink specifically

So about those canberras then, and those harrier 1s

B-57B at least considerably changed by USAF, but again, I don’t have an issue with UK getting something like Washington since it’s actually relevant to the UK, but UK has nothing to do in the slightest with the F/A-18, there just wasn’t and isn’t a good reason to add it there

It is quite funny that you dismissed the Aussie F/A-18 because the UK has nothing to do with F/A-18.
(While we have an indirect connection via the sub-tree and Commonwealth, well, ignore those for now for argument’s sake.)

While you completely refused the idea of an ‘independent BeNeLux tech tree’, which would make the F-16 relevant directly to Belgium.

No Belgium F-16 to French since it has nothing to do with French, then no Belgium F-16 to BeNeLux since it will be a lame, boring C&P TT.

Just say [I don’t want to see that they are stealing our vehicles].
Show your true colours.

The need is questionable but they are fair game

Day 4 of waiting for Cypriot sub tree

We all know that the exocet dropping for entendard next patch is going to be bigger than france getting submarines. Please

I wouldn’t have as much of a problem with British mains asking for the world if they didn’t also have a serious history of massively overhyping themselfs as well.

German mains do it more

Nah a lot of German mains generally accept that they aren’t super skilled.

Meanwhile a lot of British mains, especially here on the forums, like to pretend that they are actually good players. I use the word pretend because most of the time when I check them they are nothing special at best, especially in GRB.

I see something different usually

Again the amount of times I see German mains asking for others vehicles because apparently they “suffer”

Remember the forums are a minority, there are many people who main other nations that act like this

I never knew asking for ‘purchaced vehicles from the US’ means ‘asking for the world’

That isn’t. However British mains asking for stuff like the Saudi F-15s and Omani Centauro RGO is.

Yes, and there are also a bunch of chill British mains here. They just suffer from the reputation of other British mains overhyping their skill.

Well, let’s be honest, I saw plenty of US mains asking for stuff like Canadian LAV, Skink, or captured Pantsir from Libya.
While some weebs ask for Korean vehicles in the Japanese tech tree too.

Every other nation does.
Not only us.

I wonder why you decided to pick ‘us’ explicitly for ‘asking for the world’.
This feels like ladder-kicking.

Especially when I asked for ‘British vehicles.’
