Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion (Part 1)

Its not speculation when the USA itself says they will use F414 engines which lack the tech as NGAP engines since we know it will likely be a bit better than F414 engines on F18E it still wont become a new engine with anti thermal signature there are 2 options: Usa navy is trolling to trick people or us Navy is dead serious and F/A-XX is a all aspect stealth f18E

The engine doesn’t decide what generation a plane is going to be considered part of

They’re free to play the game as they wish

We love one-death-leaving

Especially now that people get free back-ups and additional vehicles to spawn

what even is “6th gen” tech when a plane is using 4.5 gen tech in a extremely important area of the jet likely THE MOST important part of a modern plane it has “6th” gen sensors and bla bla but it wont do much the f18E cant do

We don’t know what tech the final F/A-XX is going to use.

We don’t know what the specifications of the J-36 and J-50 are either, but they already are regarded as 6th gen.

You wanna know why? Because they aren’t part of the current fighter jet generation. They are being developed to replace the 5th gen fighters that currently are in service.

no calling out players against the roles since you showed the names and called 1 death leavers

“just make your plane a chip and it will be 6th gen” I’m not calling j50 any kind of gen until I see it is more than a chip with engines and wheels just like how we KNOW the F414 engines are being used INSTEAD??? of something like new f15EX engines F/A-XX a overall CHEAP AND AFFORDABLE and problably going to be exported to NATO allies plane , F-47 on the other hand has engines that WE KNOW are the most advanced on earth USA keeps things like x-36 and paints them with “new” missiles and tech

who told you it had F414’s? given the size of the renders it might be twin F135’s as the initial engine

Aight, I’m done.
You go on with your own made up fighter jet generation system.

The rest of the world will go with the generally agreed upon classification system.

never but I did NOT make that up you can think what you want but it is likely using F414 GE engines to save cost and development time to hit the 2028 timestamp

thats for F-47 not F/A-XX

The obvious reasons why northop lost is because it was too “good” and pricey not easy to make just like the yf23

ok +2 years is what you want 2030 yea it will already have prototypes in the sky by that time 2028 so yes it is indeed the F/A-XX development millstone timeline
