Radar lost lock and decided to shoot the target further away idk. I’m losing my mind here though lmao, can’t play the Danish Lynx well close enough to the lynx since they nerfed the pen, didn’t fix the crew getting stuck with no driver and both crew in the turret or no turret crew and two drivers. Can’t play the 9035 because there’s no 9.7 lineup and any sort of other IFV there has anti drone abilities unlike me so I’m always at a position disadvantage.
God this updates sucks but at least once the NOMADS is spaded I can go play the Hummel.

Its… difficult to use I will say.
Had limited success but mostly in downtiers and even then its iffy. Enemy SPAA if they are clued up will intercept the missiles.
Theres also the side issue that you fire from 10-20km away (to be able to pop up fire drop, or keep out of range) and some crazy bugger with a F18 or some such with HARMs can spawn in and just roll right into the zone and blam it before your missile gets close to hitting.
ALARM vs HARM is 100% the “patient British hunters long time setup vs American YEEE HAW COWBOY” trope.
Must be the same reason nobody is playing the NOMADS lol

the more I hear about this missile in game the more I laugh at gaijin and their “oh but it will be OP below 12.3” love that they took so much caution with the alarm encase it had even the slightest chance of being strong meanwhile BMPT being added at 10.3

Mmm. perhaps, but eh I personally would bet on a UK FV601 being a premium/BP full stop, as a counterpart to a TT FV101, they are otherwise incredibly similar capability wise, but the UK tree does lack tracked LTs in the BR range.
Could be the other way around I suppose

Well… Thats a real shame. Given it a few matches, even waited for a map with naval targets and its official. ALARM (and ARM in general) is totally and completely useless in ARB. Total waste of weight and drag. There is nothing to shoot at, unless you want to risk going within 10km of the enemy AF where most/all will get intercepted and you might get killed by the AA yourself.
88E has the same motor as 88C, to decrease this gap the only option is 88G/AARGM-ER
i spawn in, drive to the middle of the map and theres a mi28nm throwing vikhrs at me… seems pretty fair to me
Airfield AA easily intercepts the ALARMs btw, just soaks up entire volleys…
Sorta, but on each of the three days, it roared in during the morning … not in the late afternoon like how the Ajax or Boxer debuted.
~ and all the staff were pretty hush hush about it - even if you asked on sat & sat mornings about it (when after the beans had been spilled after the Fri surprise) - they refused to utter the term Challenger 3 or acknowledge and would only assure that the programme will start at 10:30 but with a slight smirk ;-)
