Sometimes I still can’t believe I’m 27, as I still remember 2017 like it was literally weeks ago, hahahah.
Sometimes, I say “hey, the other day I came across (whatever)”, and “the other day” is 2016 lmao.
When people ask me how old I am, I have to stop for a moment and ACTIVELY remember or even check in which year we are, and I’m like, “ah, 27 it is… okay then” :')
Yep! I supposse and hope that the devs are working on an advanced and polished build before releasing anything.
Yep, which is the exact same tactic we’ve been forced to do in ASB for years. Which is fine if you’ve got them. Infuriating if you dont. and whilst I dont play it much. I know the AA is just as strong at lower BRs where there are no guided weapons or even CCIP.
I might try it. Maybe, I dont know if I can be bothered. I find the gamemode actually a bit boring overall. Waaaaay too much emphasis on just nuking everything. The gamemode is just
Farm SP
Get into something with nukes
Nuke everything.
The moment nukes are available, carefully aiming a 1000lb bomb is totally redundant, and the gamemode can only be won by nuking everything too. So there is even more reason to just jump immediately into a nuke carrier.
it was a fun gimmick for the april fools, but as a serious, permamnent gamemode… I think the nukes need to be totally rebalanced, if not maybe removed and the gamemode reworked without them.
I mean I could do it with the Viggen but probably not if we get RBS 15, maybe lol, either way it’s funny to occasionally watch new players attempt to fly and then become submarines
@Smin1080p_WT could acting upon all the accepted but not implemented bug reports in regards to missing drop tanks be looked in to? With all these nuclear thunder tests it’s very apparent that drop tanks are now important, especially in the Vietnam test. Some aircraft just feel straight up unplayable because by the time your at the action, it’s time to head back to base.
Furthermore, some aircraft already have them, but only in the centerline. A great example would be the F-4C. If you want to take the tank you have to lose your very important gunpod. This could easily be solved by adding its missing wing drop tanks.
I gotta ask why the AJSH tho? Realistically no need for a heavier Viggen in a game mode where it’s already outclassed given the devs have admitted they don’t want to remove the artificial weight increase
If i remember correctly i saw somewhere (can’t remember where or if it’s true) that the EldE 98 actually already has regen steering in-game because it needed it to work in any reasonable way with it’s trailer (that IRL isn’t a trailer). If that’s true then they have indeed already done some testing with it.
Yes Elde was given the code everyone uses for regen steering because the devs admitted the game engine can’t handle dual drive vehicles like the Elde which begs the question why add a vehicle if the devs can’t add it in a way that’s playable
Don’t worry the devs also managed to make the Elde replacement worse than the Elde on launch too lmao
That was where the original push for regen steering came from.
The point is though, that the code for 90% of regen steering (or at least a reasonable facsimile) already exists and memebers of the community have already applied it to basically every single MBT and more than a few light tanks too (scimitar for example) and the results have been impressive.
If a single modder can take code already in-game, and apply it to a load of tanks also already in-game in about a week.
Then surely the devs can do it in a year, even with a lot of effort being on a single gamemode. Especially as it would be unlikely for them to apply it to everything at once and instead cherry pick a few each major update for a year or 2
