I’m hoping for one TT and maybe one as a squadron vehicles. Although with the event schedule I think one will likely be an event vehicle.
It will probably be at around 13.3 if it gets given it’s planned equipment but if not then I can’t see it being higher than say 11.3 since it would only have 2 AIM-9L and no countermeasures.
There’s quite the difference in power between the two so even with XL-2 being a bit heavier it would likely still perform a lot better than XL-1.
Squadron i doubt, Gaijin being gajin they’ll probably make one a prem since its an f16 and all the new players lovee f16’s
knowing gaijin’s implementations, I’d too bet on it being around the 11.0-11.3 mark
speaking of which. I am having the most fun I’ve probably had in this game now that missiles don’t work. slamming down su30 and f16 wallet warriors is heaven

yep. missiles, both ir and radar are completely messed up unless you launch head on at under 10km

The other issue with G-AIDN, whilst shes an 8 not a 9, is that its not clear she was armed even with the 303s after her conversion. Particularly being civilian later.
Its not a “never ever” case. But the general balance issues of 2 x 303s on a Mk V-IX performing aircraft do remain.

Btw Smin since you’re here, could you answer this, with the tease for the F16XL and the US F15A getting countermeasures and the Yak 141 getting planned modifications, could we see CF-104 for Norway get it’s planned 2x Penguin mounts so that they have a somewhat usable amount on a vehicle at Vietnam era?

Also F4C with three gunpods was a monster when not worrying about missiles

the reason why the F-5C got CMs is bc it is “technically compatible”
with it being a converted F-5A where they tested the refuling probe on and after that they were converted back to being F-5As
although the CMs for the F-5A were only ever a thing after the F-5C program
