Because being known for having a public forum that’s infested with classified materials is way different than using them internally to model certain things where there’s plausible deniability as well as it not being obvious due to the secret nature of their work.
Exactly. They obviously can’t explicitly accept restricted and classified documents, but I personally fully expect that if devs somehow get access to those same docs through unofficial channels they might just use them. (Legal reminder that it’s just my opinion and it’s not substantiated)
Posting publicly those documents would actually be detrimental as it would prevent the devs from implementing those said reports without repercussions.
Yeah no everything you said is just straight up illegal and if gajin is doing exactly this than theirs a huge problem because gajin shouldn’t have access or even see export restricted documents or classified documents
And I suspect, but have no proof, that Gaijin uses primary documents to corroborate which secondary sources are actually credible and have a history of being credible, might be how they dismissed Jane’s.
If you really think that gaijin is doing everything following the letter of the law, after the recent discussions on Russian devs treatment, and their overall disdain for the player base, as well as being an absolute pay to win grind game, you are delusional in my opinion.
The game also has the player base it deserve. You just need to spend 10 minutes in some semi obscure discord server to meet someone that probably has hard drives of restricted documents. I just think it’s hard to believe it’s not the same for the devs
Gaijin is just like any of us who might come across documents and see certain things and certain information on documents we’re not supposed to see. But even if they dismissed and refused to use those sources, do you expect them to all of a sudden not use public secondary sources that “happens” to have that same information, (those public secondary sources could have ended up using info from classified sources but don’t say so).
Heck, it’s something even us have done before. I would not have spend so much effort looking at public sources with Mulatu on the Leclerc turret drive to buff it from 30 to 40º/s if it were not for the “leak” a few months/year prior from some old forum argument with a Leclerc operator. It allowed us to know exactly what to look for, and it turns out that we found at least 10-15 secondary sources on that
Exactly, you don’t necessarily have to use that classified source when it could point you towards public information that contains the same information that you know is correct, and keep re-using the same sources because you know they likely are using valid information, and you’d be off the hook for having used secondary sources.
No I’m just saying that publicly speaking they have no legal evidence to deny aim7p for the f14D and that theirs more evidence that the f14D can use aim7P if they had secondary sources they would have link it by know
No, even for the minuscule reports, they rarely ever present their sources. There’s too many vehicles and equipment and they can’t be bothered, it’s been commented on many times.
No I think they would have by know with how many times people requested aim7p for f14D or even how I asked them for the sources…anyways I’m done talking about this as it’s a moot discussion
As it has been mentioned, it’s not possible for Gaijin to do this every time there’s been a disagreement, see second paragraph
Funny, they won’t do it themselves but when bug reporting they require the level of detail of a academic paper… A bunch of bluffers…
I didn’t see when you post this
Btw anyone wondering what happened to the poll I accidentally deleted it when I was adding photos
Smin is for a few days away
Day 28, Singaporean subtree for Israel.
Seeing how this update released, I’m not sure how suprised I am by it taking so long.
okay guys i hacvent slept in in like 2 days and it gave me a conspiracy theory, the real reason that israel isnt getting their aesa toptier is because it will mean that gaijin will have to work on properly implementing AESA instead of them just being mechanically scanned array radar on meth with a tws memory feature.
and they know no one really plays israel so they can just stall it untill they finnaly figure out how to code from a youtube tutorial
ngl kinda insane that the Su17M4 is sitting at 11.0 with 2 mach 4.5 capable missiles, sure the band search is low but looking at it most targets you run into will be running I band
