As far as I know, the U.S. approved the export of AH-64E to Israel, but the final production arrangement contract and project funding haven’t been agreed on, because Israel hasn’t agreed to the project domestically, maybe because the project quote is a bit high?
Boeing had originally reserved a production window for Israel, and the United States also postponed the contract signing deadline twice, but Israel failed to approve it each time. This means that even if Israel approves the purchase contract now, it can only re-queue for production, which may push the actual delivery time of the AH-64E to 2030.
Israel reached an agreement with the domestic company Elbit Systems Ltd. to install DIRCM on the AH-64 and UH-60, but this project may be carried out in the next five years. We do not know how many will actually be installed or when, but I estimate this will not be for the AH-64A, because the AH-64E purchased from the United States will replace them.
When it comes to the game, it probably depends on the mood of the Gaijin planner today.
The Israeli Ah-64E, much like the F-15IA, does not exist. Neither should be expected in the near future because of this until a prototype or production example is seen.
Yes but the upgraded AH-64D (by Israel) and the H-145M would be awesome additions even if they don’t have a LDIRCM that overperfoms in game as it is only capable over deflecting MANPAD… (And still waiting to get fixed because IRIS-T shouldn’t miss Mi-28)
What does the F-16AJ look like?
Indonesian and Taiwan AH-64Es in game have LDIRCM and JAGM-MRs despite them specifically not having said equipment.
F-14D getting AIM-120s is more logical than that. I get your hopes but having this as a Mirage 4K equivalent with Sparrows,if possible and AIM-9Ms at 13.0 would be finer for me
Was there even a sepv3 with throphy?
2a8 still makes more sense. Ots addable im sweden and germany. And in the future frqnce.
Its the lazy addition
And its only a lws and aps no other changes essentialy.
The beak wouöd still be missing the importsnt part.
It covers only the area the PSO has
Maybe it’ll be here in 2035.
Don’t get me wrong, I would warmly welcome a 2A8 and I think it makes more sense LINEUP wise: because Germany has only 1 advanced tank, it would make sense to get a super advanced tank to accompany it.
That way, 2A7V and 2A8 would be asymmetrical counters to the SEP family and 122s. Smaller numbers, but better capabilities.
Still, technically, 2A7A1 is SEPv2 Trophy’s counterpart in the sense that both are not-yet-uparmored variants, while 2A7V/2A8 and SEPv3s are the uparmored ones.
Well asymetrical is not quite the case if sweden gets the norwegian 2a8
Not really going off of what Gaijin’s rules seem to be regarding stuff like this. It seems to be that production vehicles require a higher standard and show that they did use equipment or show full compatibility.
For prototypes / pre-production vehicles they seem to go off of what was planned for it if it was to have entered full production and service so long as there are clear plans detailing the important avionics, equipment, and weapons which the F-16XL does have.
Yeah it’s can’t carry any Sparrows, it doesn’t have the pylons for it they couldn’t be mounted on the wingtip rails and they wouldn’t fit in the recessed pylons that AIM-120 were going to be mounted to.
There could be a case for AIM-9M as it entered service in 1982 and the F-16XL was in testing from 1982 - 1983 with the USAF so there’s a chance Gaijin could give it. But I think chances are they’ll keep it to AIM-120 and AIM-9L like what the F-16 ADF is like.
Remember when Germany had no counterparts to Leopard 2A5 and Leopard 2A6…
I heard they can add early carriers with big main guns to naval research tree and reuse their highly detailed assets for gamemodes like bomb escalation 1944 and enduring confrontation.
Hospital time again… Gaijin, if you hear me, modern MBT dov bleg to give me some good news? ^^
2A7A1? 2A8? XLR? BVM.2023? CR3? Armata? K2PL and K2GF? 2A6HEL? Regenerative steering? :P
Hey. The AH-64E hasn’t been acquired yet.
At the moment, its not clear if the deal is still going through or not.
Thanks!
Correct my understanding.
If in the future, it is indeed confirmed to be transferred, paid for, etc and only left with pending delivery.
i.e. The deal is confirmed.
Would it ever be considered for addition? Or must a vehicle be physically delivered for addition to War Thunder? (e.g. Heavy Tank No. 6, never delivered / never bought Swedish Mi28As / AHS)
2A7A1 with 2A7V foldered and 2A8 end of line, theres the solution
