Right… With heavily upgraded secondaries that fire omega proxy and radar.
Really an equivalent isn’t it.
I mean its the same pod from Bucc but sure we’ve never seen it mounted. But system compatibility is confirmed same justification used for Martel AR.
Wasn’t too sure about it because Bucc had its own Sea Eagle launcher as well, rather than reusing Martel ones.
Also I think Sea Eagle isn’t hot-launched off the rail, and the carriers on Tornado are for a sort of MACE-to-Bale lug interface, power requirements, and improving aerodynamic separation (angled ones on the fuselage etc.)
Did think I’d seen a photo of Buccaneer with SEagle on a different launcher once, but can’t recall if it was the Martel type one, or the IL-38/Sea Harrier type one. Can’t find it now, either way
Sadly without something more solid, the devs dont have plans for it.
Have we got any photos of the ARM missile on the Tornado?
Bucc used the same SE pylon as Tornado GR.1B. I’d have to check but the lugs etc should be in the same position from Martel.
Nope, Martel didn’t make it to service on Tornado. However Tornado was made compatible from the start with the Martel family, but the RAF didn’t go ahead with it.
The problem with that theory is that when Martel was being considered for integration Sea Eagle was still a good few years away from existing.
Okey
Yeah am just confused on no TV Martlets maybe a MITL balance issue
It’s officially called “subtree”, unlike Romania for example, so it most likely wouldn’t be moved to a standalone tree any time soon if ever. Although plans can always change.
If you find anything, I did do a ticket demonstrating that it fires the motor on the rail so shouldn’t be directly mounted from a BRU/ERU, and showing the Bucc Martel launchers on four other airframes to hopefully support that the launcher was not unique to Buccaneer

Early test on Sea Vixen seem to show them using something along the lines of a cut-down French launch rail as well. It’s similar to the eventual Sea Eagle solution. But other photos show they eventually had the Buccaneer type launchers for both AR and TV Martel on XJ476

Ill have a look over the weekend see what I can dig up to bolster that report before I forward it.
The gambling is a trap anyway, conveniently before a major update almost every time.
you forgot russia getting an arsenal bird and the f15ge having its amber racks removed
@Gunjob while you are here, i am gonna nnoy you again. Since our side didnt hear anything yet.
Even if you likely got pinged a trillion times.
You on the typhoon supersonic paveway 4 issue and handling it likely over the weekend as well?
Plane devblog prayers.
You gonna get your naval and be happy about it
Oh, wild seeing my screenshot in the wild, lol
although may i say the gamba boxes are good for accellerators, when the boxes came a good year ago, i did the merkava 4 series in a blink of an eye (2 days of not even eccessive hours of grind with of course skill dependant matches) and spaded them that fast, same i did for T80u/uk/um2 even earlier…
tbh after a certain amount you really dont know how to spend SL so at this point better gamble a bit XD
and honestly with how gaijin treats vehicles at their very release and subsequent patches, i buy newer vehicles either at sale or after a good month or two (so they also release micropatches with buffs in case), getting them at the release is a gamble by itself either because they are nothingburger (Arena T90M) or another-of-already-seen (Hunter AFV, leo1BE, leo 2 of X nation)
Thats unfortunate. I would rather have them in Israel. Seems like a better fit.
