show me the source you can use to prove the F-14D or more specifically the AN/APG71 can use the AIM-7P’s datalink

Jajaja why yall trying change it up why can’t no one source/link legal document that they can use to support their calm that it can’t use datalink for mid course guidance because from my understanding their only one legal document supporting aim7p’s do work on the f14 and that all yall can go by

Thats because the f15e radar was made to support the AIM-120 and the AIM-7M (the non datalink AIM-7)

So was the apg71 it was literally supposed to be capable of more modern armaments just like the f15E was. it was what made the f14D and f14B different from each other was the digital upgrade.

they use the same radar im pretty sure and neither can support the AIM7P datalink
it could easily come as a max of 5 same way they added brimstones on the tornado Gr4 for balance. Considering that they are worse in every way to HARMs and the tornado GR1 and GR4 both lack the ESM screen to effetely fire at multiple radars I really see no reason why they cant come to the GR1 at 11.7

Gaijin’s argument relies on a 1989 document that says F-14D radar tested AMRAAM without testing DL. Therefore as AIM-7P and 120 have the same datalink method, the radar cannot use the DL function. Otherwise it can still mount and fire the missile.
So yeah Gaijin is now using the “Prove me if you can” stance, which is somewhat more logical than “Disprove me if you can” stance for Kh-38s etc.

Did you even read this lmao? it says “AIM7M/P”, which for the f14 its just the M. not once did it specifically say the f14 can use the AIM7P with datalink or such. just that it used one of the 2 which is the 7m
