The Changes to the Stormer HVM have hurt it greatly and the Starstreaks have actually had a reduction in effectiveness. Im hardpressed to justify it over the Rapier, a 9.7 SPAA.
Let alone issue with the fact that the Stormer HVM is totally incapable of destroying any drone (Recon or strike), or even dealing with jets half the time. Its good at only one thing, killing helis, thats it. Its not even good at sniping light tanks anymore.
LMM would resolve that issue and actually bring it back up to a 10.3 SPAA.
and if this is true, then they arent an issue from an anti-tank perspective either

Hey @Smin1080p_WT is there any reason anymore why Germany don’t get their tech demos as we’ve seen recent ish with the 2RI and not getting the revolution/evolution (forgot what it was) and the original strv122s and the TVM series. Why aren’t theses leopards who were made by Germany being added
Well, hopefully, Germany will get 2A7, 2A7A1 and 2A8 instead. (2A6A3 mod for 2A6 too, please).
The more production and actual service vehicles, and the less prototypes and demonstrators, the better!

Can’t disagree less lmao they should be added to Germany. Other nations get their tech demos why doesn’t Germany why still do we not have more competitive Leopards when tanks like 2a7+ with the 2a7HU were added or the revolution with the 2RI.
Was a prototype btw. And is basically worthless for the game.
When exactly is this 10th anniversary?
Maybe they worry adding LMM to the HVM would over‑power it, yet right now it’s pretty bad at everything except shooting down helicopters.

Historically, tech demos have only been added when no production/service alternatives were available.
Germany has plenity of service and production variants available as to not require prototypes and demonstrators, in my opinion. 2A8 would be a nice start!
Also, Leopard 2A7 wasn’t a prototype; it was the main Leopard comprehensive modernization standard and upgrade effort for existing older Leopard 2 variants between 2014 and 2021.

2a7V with trophy. Wow 1 tank that’s better so Sweden again would have 3X as many tanks and them still being better as they would get a 2a8 too. So again where are the German tech demos for competition.
In any case, I didn’t advocate entirely against demonstrators or prototypes; I just think they should FIRST focus on actual production vehicles, and THEN, continue filling out with the former.
I mean, I’m the first sucker for EMBT (2022), hahahahah. I would kill for France and Germany to get this thing.
