The APS rn is just extra weight, it may have saved me ONCE from a heli missile but never really works…
Its lighter, have more cms, and better fm.
And maybe stronger engines
I had the APS on the Boxer save me from a missile about 2 weeks ago, and I will be honest. I sat there for a moment trying to figure out what happened, until i realised that the APS had actually worked. then died to a spike about 30 seconds later
It does get a MAW like the J15 right?
very big maybe as the engines afaik are just WS-10B´s with gearboxs in different location
yes should be rear aspect only (all the MAW par the 11A and 10C MAW´s on chn planes are overperforming/ bugged)
What I am asking is. You said there are trees planned. Did you mean standalone tech trees + Korea or Korea + some sub trees for existing nations?
I am more so interested in new standalone trees
It can’t even stop a spike, how pathetic
APSn’t
Doesn’t work, just like how my relationship with gaijin isn’t working rn.
Need. Gamba.
You’re saying something incomprehensible and strange. They wrote that in the long‑term plans there’s a separate tree Korea and subtrees for Greece and Cyprus for Israel.
I expect gaijin plan Initial service before current service (late block)
No gamba today it seems… very sad day…
XD that’s a lot of work for nothing
No you just can’t read English
They meant that they there were looking into adding more standalone tech trees, with Korea being one of them
I need to hear it from the horse’s mouth
In most cases there isnt a lot of difference.
ASRAAM for example, whilst the full details arent known about the Blk6, the main difference we do know about is that it doesnt use US parts anymore, which means the Americans cant block its sale. The main area it upgrades is the seeker, but Gaijin is likely going to model those generically anyway, and not differ that much from missile to missile.
Overall performance is probably not that different to the Block 1
That is what the “horse” said
This. I expect similar implementation to Fox-3 in seeker (if we ignore MICA) for all IIR missiles. The difference will be kinematics compared to the would-be old IRCCM missiles.
