On a more serious note, majority of aircraft can use them already but there are some (mostly ‘newer’ Chinese additions like the only remaining J-16 and J-20) that only have these next gen missiles and nothing else
My thinking is that if they add something F-15EX with a large number of Ds or D3s even, then the Rafale ,Typhoon and Gripen will need something to maintain pace in terms of BVR.

Im thinking that Meteor would be added to bridge the gap between existing airframes and new airframes.
Next Gen IIR will be added to everything fairly evenly, and whilst it would change the gameplay and balance some aspects of existing gameplay, fundementally its not changing that much in terms of existing balance relatively speaking.

On another note i sincerely hope for all the players of top tier ARB that they will increase the map sizes, it will be downright obligatory now that they want to add even longer ranged missiles…
What is going to happen with aircraft that have documentation for the AARGM but not the ER?
For example, the Typhoon?
Will they get ER or will they be stuck with Cs?
Its been needed since they add Fox-3s.
Hopefully we will see the normal AARGM too in the end :(
Max I could see them adding is 16 and even that is just +2 more than the Su-30SM. Nothing to worry about there even if they’re all standard AIM-120D.
For all the hype surrounding the F-15EX, it is going to be kinda weak due to its radar anyway. Almost everyone with Meteor has a radar that has more than 140 deg FoR and can still guide missiles in from the notch…
Hopefully the Meteor unlike other missiles will be able to reliably reacquire targets due to its heightened energy state even if they notch successfully and are still being illuminated by radar.

It should also be capable of launching the Ds or maybe even D3s with greater speed, and thus increasing their performance.
I still think that a limited count of C5s vs a large number of Ds or maybe D3s, is not sustainable, and at a bare minimum, they need to give the Typhoon late AMRAAMs as well.

Yeah… Just need to look at the lack of SB maps, that would be usable in ARB these days given the fact that ARB and ASB maps at top tier basically need to be the same size (though SB maps should remain larger, the bare minimum would be equal size)
They denied ALARM for platforms that had it by calling it balance-breaking, when you can see it by yourself it has been a decent but nowhere near how they sold it to us
Practically they will give it to you to 1 platform (a mid one) only and call it a day
