Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

Anti-aircraft behavior on land and at sea has been significantly reworked and rebalanced, particularly for short-range SAM systems. For example, they no longer fire while moving at full speed, and now activate their search radars earlier.

Search radars should be always active and not “activated earlier”. How else would the SAM know that there are targets at all? It’s like there is psych sitting in the SAM telling them that there is something the search radar could pick up or not before they activate it or not lol

Changes have also come to this mode’s key force, anti-aircraft systems. Originally, to achieve acceptable server performance during battles on a huge map with hundreds of active units, we had to completely disable search radars on short-range SAM systems. However, this was frustrating and didn’t give players the information they needed to make decisions in advance, even after search radars were set to activate on missile launch.
Now, following a series of additional optimizations, here’s what’s been implemented: short-range SAM systems will activate their radar once a player gets within a distance roughly 1.5 times the system’s missile launch range. This should give players enough time to make decisions and strike the SAM sites with anti-radiation missiles before the system opens fire.

Oh wow, a technical issue…

They should spend some of the money they made from the F-14D on servers than can actually handle the load.

Either that (even if I’m no friend of beating software inefficiencies with hardware) or better optimize the software (Compile flags, use SIMD where possible, do optimzation passes on all logic implementations, etc.). Would have much more advantages in the long run… If they say they already fully optimized it, they’re lying as there are always things you can optimize one way or the other, even if it’s writing hot code as a kernel in assembly (like encoders/decoders for audio/video do) :D

Nah, all that money is needed for replacing the Ctrl, C & V keys on all their keyboards.

More Claude Code abos :D (even if I’m starting to think that Claude would get it done better somehow)

Erm why is it getting raised already? Its worse than Warrior capability wise but is the same BR??? Are we having a joke right now?

Yeah, that is dumb, unless it gets a better shell, but even then…

?

That settles it then, no point adding Poland :P

IIRC they also never used ADF

yeah, quick search.
they bought used danish F-16 Blk15 MLU

MLU are later modifications of ADF. MLU Blk 15 are converted in the field, MLU Blk 20 are factory conversion

I think the idea here is the U.S. covers a lot of Europe with its own nuclear arsenal so a U.S. aircraft would act as the delivery option for certain nations.
There might be a point to where we have B-2s etc available to European tech trees idk lol

Or they are just standard nuke vehicles for multiple nations.

Or what sub tree do you want to give Germany that operated the B-29 and Jaguar (jet)?
