Sure, but its 98 LCMs. Thats a pretty solid laodout that I would take over the micro CMs the Typhoon has that dont always work. Especially given they should be 4-6x stronger than they currently
By this logic, after Britain had to deal with Tornados, Harriers and co. The Typhoon should have ASRAAMs and Meteors by now.
Though, given the under BRed nature of the Su-30 Premium and Su-33. This doesnt really track.
The point is… The Su-30SM2 got a radar and engines it never used, because it was tested, maybe. But basic features and bug fixes for other aircraft havent even been looked at, even after being reported 18+ months ago. For example, the Typhoon still hasnt gotten UV filter for the cockpit HUD yet.
It is by far the strongest aircraft at top tier at the moment, which is no surprise after the Soyuz, BMPT, Pantsirs (both of them), BUK, SKR-7 and AK-225.
Then when you look at A2G and not just A2A… KH-38MTs remain the strongest AGM in-game and KH-31PD the strongest ARM in-game (the KH-31 is strong in fact that the devs have actually admitted its super strong and are rapidly planning to add much stronger NATO ARMs next major update to compete)

it’s a problem of all AAs that aren’t optic-tracked, IRIS-T is not the best but even in his nerfed state remains a really good AA

When everyone else gets ultra modern tanks of similar capabilities
and to no ones surprise only 1 nation has one of those at the moment (well, actually they have 2 competitive examples at top tier)

Practically useless for war thunder the regular 2a4 was basically a fancy 2a7. While cool it wouldn’t be 2a7V capabilities

indeed gaijin should fully nerf the magical barrier of helis, although russia has no fault if they focused a lot more on optical tracked missile AAs unlike Nato

The point is though.
It would be simple to nerf LDIRCM (such as making IRIS-T immune to it like it is IRL)
It would be likewise simple to make ARH SAMs better too. MP can be set on a missile to missile basis already in the code. Instead its just set to 60m for everything. And there is already code to allow SAM radars to track helis, there is no reason why this code couldnt also be given to aircraft and Fox-3s.
But its been over a year now, and nothing… no fix, no changes, nothing. Helis remain immune to all SAMs except one, the Pantsirs.
And then yeah, they through the SM-SV in when it was really really really not needed

i mean, in their niche ADATS, ITO and Flarakrad are doing their job well, people are using them a lot and are somewhat keeping the problem controllable although not minimally fun or balanced
as said i do agree, while i’d say the BUK-M3 is really one poor PoS…
Don’t forget the comically bad performance at intercepting munitions
None come even close to the Pantsir S1 which is somehow still 12.0 and not 12.3 or 12.7 where it should be and the ADATS/FaRakRad are only doing okay because they are 11.7 and can avoid the worst of the CAS at top tier. But would be DOA at 12.0.
Its the strongest of the ARH SAMs at the moment, due to the missiles being very fast and having a large warhead. Also the Missiles seem to have a good flight path for dealing with MP.
Still waiting for the CAMM/CAMM-ERs to get DL re-enabled, that was reported a year ago? Let alone the CAMM-ERs have half the range they should. Plenty of examples of issues with the Spyder and other top tier SAMs too
the missile is good, but the radar is excruciatingly bad, you literally use it without the main radar lmao
dunno if you have it, but if you talk with actual serious people about it, everyone will tell you its really not good

The point is…
For the soviets, its a given it will be good, it will get bug fixes, it will get new features, etc etc.
Everyone else seems to be fighting over the scraps of whatever is left
To take this back to my previous point. The ONLY Area where the soviets arent defacto the best, is in MBTs… We shall have to wait and see how long that lasts. I give it 1-2 major updates
