Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

Salt on the wound is that they made the J-10 pull 18-20G with instructor this major which makes it instantly destroy itself at high speeds thus rendering the plane that already had unusable missiles completely unflyable for no real reason

its the structure limit for 22 missiles idk if Gaijin will let it pull 22 tho

don’t say that…

Not really.

Sure, early game Super Hornets spend their AIM-174B, but they’ll have their AIM-9X to fall back on when the fights get closer. I personally would rather eat a missile early game than deal with the eventual IIR hell when everyone flies close.

(I also hope that MCM nonsense gets binned)

Can it be fired is the question. You can fit a million JDAMs on an F-15 but it doesn’t matter if it can’t fly or be used operationally.

hi do you have an update on any of the Tan Sam Kai reports? Such as reload bug when having mixed IR and ARH loadout (you stated that it is a priority bug report btw), radar not having TWS ESA so it has such a slow update rate
It has been so long and so many accepted reports but apparently none has been acted upon…

Also F-18E/F would still be able to carry two AMRAAMS on the belly

I wish I didn’t have to but devs are far too disconnected from reality and deaf to player feedback to realize that their attempts at improving stability rendered the missile useless and we have BRM’s who think missiles pull more at “medium ranges” where they have already exhausted most of their energy. (Physically impossible phenomenon only possible on CBR)

Overall I have no reason to believe the PL-12 will become usable again, or the J-10 will become flyable again instead of destroying itself with the slightest mouse movement.

so what top tier prem do u guys think we are getting next update I’m think israel f-15 prem

The largest folder in the game has 4 vehicles (excluding an edge case in the hidden vehicles that has 7). So we’re not running out of room anytime soon

3 things are certain in this life.

Death
Taxes
France receiving another F-16

ngl with how slow the gunslinger is compared to its competitor missiles i dont even think itll be that bad to fight.
especially with the upcoming changes where high altitude launches will be preferred.
and we then expect a heavily loaded F-18 to outclimb say, an Su-35 with its own R-37’s

might was well buy every f-16 prem before I die huh🤣

Or missiles pulling harder at higher altitudes where air density is thinner and fins dont work as efficiently as in thicker air (also the fact that the PL-12 is literally advertised as a dogfight missile and that by BRM standards every other missile should pull less aswell)

hello

so if im not mistaken their missile count would be

2 AIM-120Ds
4 AIM-174Bs
2-4 AIM-9Xs

the only missile they carry that is better then the missiles carried by planes with better radars and flight performance at the same BR would be the AIM-174B, the AIM-9X is often considered one of the worst 5th gen IIR missiles being inferior to things like the Python 5 and IRIST in close range performance out ranged heavily by things like the ASRAAM and MICA IR

We have data on the speed and altitude the PL-12 achieves 38G but the reports are closed with the same “it’s a midium range missel” response

I also don’t think any of the feedback from the countless threads pointing out the PL-12 being unusable was forwarded to devs?

i know

only “proof” ive ever seen of that was the AI image

There’s a publication by the chief designer of the missile that gives information on the speed and altitude the 38G mark was achieved. We also have countless other brochures that state it achieves 38G

got a link to it?

as all ive seen was this AI slop
