Worst case scenario is if they literally give it the base seeker performance of all other ARH, a Meteor that gets 1 chaffed would be peak Gaijin moment.
I think we will end up seeing these and IIR at the same time and stuff like Meteor, AIM-174 and R-37M will come after.
AFAIK the Meteor should have “re-attack” capability because of its extremly long motor burn and variable thrust. Even reignition should be possible as the fuel ignites when it gets into contact with air, doing a ballistic flight path without thrust and reigniting when reaching the target area (or losing too much speed for the ramjet) to conserve fuel. Would be funny to see people evade the missile only to get hit a few seconds later because the missile did a 180° turn.

@Smin1080p_WT Can I receive an serious answer to this question: Have you used AI voices in the making of the video “War Thunder in 2025: Iconic Vehicles” ?, as to me the deeper tone sounds like it’s an AI voice to me.

They shoulda just brought Bruce back, I miss his VA skills. I dont even care about the silly stuff he did recently.
( All I’m saying is he really brought spirit/soul into the otherwise sloppy vids of Gaijin’s)

Sure sounds like something that will be hell to outrun haha, you turn cold thinking that trying to drain it’s energy is gonna make you defeat it kinematically, but in reality it’s still burning and zooming towards you
We all miss Bruce but that’s just it though we can pinpoint a name to a voice, a person should be paid well for that but starting to use AI for voice narration now is just wrong imho well more than wrong as it’s kinda dirty to me.

And the sad part is that all it took for them to give him the boot was some overly political dorks to throw a massive fit. He’s a VA, of course he’s going to do acting for cash. Was it a poor decision on his end? Sure but that doesnt justify all the hate he’s received from some people.
The use of AI and how liberal Gaijin is with its use is absolutely baffling to me tho.

I didn’t even know they released this. I like how they still cling onto the M55 being the largest caliber gun firing conventional rounds but it’s missing its proxy round, which if I’m not mistaken, would be the largest proxy round in the entire game. They are really missing out on some marketing here.
So what are the chances they’re finally gonna add the F-CK-1 in the next update?
It should be somehwhere in the realm of F-16/F-18 performance.

I’m a musician and man the trumpet guy’s “instrument” sure aint much like a trumpet at all. Yadda yadda artistic liberties but does AI know anything about any of that?
Yeah I’m seeing that now, looks more like a bugle (which a bugle for a “jazzman” is a really interesting idea).
