BMPT at 10.7 haha It feels like putting salt and pepper on a dog poo. It is still disgusting, but a bit less.
I think playing it in 11.7 would be normal.
12.3 tanks still struggels against it.
Abrams are getting bullied by those in the turret ring, and Type-10 and TKX are pen on the lower front plate with 60mm aka the stock AP round of the Terminator.
Current thoughts are an IJN cruiser, possibly a takao class.

No but you don’t understand, when it’s any other vehicle, upping the BR massively is fine (hello AGS with M833 at 12.0), but when it’s a premium that coincidentally happens to be russian, suddenly, its “oh, we’ll only up it one step even though it might not be enough”

They’re testing the water. Up it slowly until it reaches a state of being OP but not enough to irk the playerbase as much as it currently does. Strategy of desensitization :)
I agree that the BMPT should move up, but this part about the AGS is some revisionism. The AGS also got bumped up by small steps every time.

Ah, yes, the “small step” of 9.3 to 10.0, then it moved to 10.3 then went up to 11.0 and then from 11.0 (or 11.3 ?) straight to 12.0
The AGS was strong, don’t get me wrong but, even though it was a very strong tank in the right hands, it definitely feels like the BMPT is more oppressive and only gets a milquetoast 0.4 br increase for some reason

though I havent get BMPT yet, but from my observation, I think it’s power relies much on bullying low br vehicles. the ones shooting m735/dm23, and many light tanks, they are the ones that can’t handle BMPT, once separated with them, things will change a lot.
At least the qn506 stayed was scared of ppl confusing the two terminators lol
And the timescale is also way different. It took months or even years for the AGS to get most of these BR changes.
Meanwhile it’s been what, 1-2 weeks since the update released?

About the ship, i dont think its a japanese one.
it looks like its at least a Cruiser size and japanese ships normaly got a Imperial Seal at the front.
But the Front of this one just doesnt fit what you normally got on Japanes ships.
And from what i saw when looking at diffrent japanes ships none of them really fits the bill with this high slick Tower and bouth of these rangefinders on the side.
At least that what belive if the showed ship is accurate displayed.
The problem is simply that they can move it to 11.7 and nothing will change.
They need to make adjustments to the damagemodel so it can actually be disabled or killed reliably when aiming properly - which currently simply is not the case.
