Any plans in next major update to increase number of presets?
a couple years ago bomber bases in RB had AA gun defences which after every little patch would either one shot a non ace pilot or do no damage at all.
nowadays they arent there but base bombing has no worthwhile rewards
Might want to lower the cope a tad.
This process will take several major updates, and the first 5th generation aircraft will not appear in the game before the second half of next year.

With 4.5th gen fighter aircraft now confirmed to be placed at Rank IX, is it likely that future 5th gen fighters will be assigned to Rank X?
We still have a way to go yet before that becomes something to discuss. Rank IX hasn’t even fully come yet.

In an organisation matter it would make sense, aside from the early F-22A which could be rank 9 (performance wise and organisation-wise)

What is the reason ranks 1 and 2 in the TT cant be used to progress in BP, second daily task, and events again? Is it to reduce “sealclubbing”, or fears that the progress would be too swift?
Lots of interesting and fun rank 1 and 2 vehicles that should have been played more, but as a result of the rank 3 rule i cant find the time for.

As with everything there must be a catch.
Probably gonna add a billion rank 8 “not top tier, trust” premiums to ruin any tech tree grind thats left in the game.
I mean I play mostly ranks 5-7 and I don’t have top tier at all so that’s fine by me… Even the Mirage F1C is gonna be unplayable with the eagles at 12.7 anyway so couldn’t care less. As long as I get some tasty lower ranks planes

This is a significant reason (as lower tier tree vehicles in the hands of seasoned players naturally perform drastically better than the average new player coming into the game).
As all of us were there at some stage, it wouldn’t be so fun if there were hordes of very experienced players rampaging over new and inexperienced players who are trying to learn the game at the lower ranks.
Lower rank event vehicles are typically quite niche and often worse than some tree vehicles at that BR. So they are not quite as open to abuse.
Its also worth noting that challenges that are nominal in skill at Rank III+ could typically be totally incorrect for Rank I.

I can understand that tbh since even I (rather bad at the game) absolutely steamroll everyone at rank 1 even though I only play that rank to start a new tree
Yeah, i see. Nevertheless it is unfortunate whenever a new interesting vehicle is introduced at rank 1 or 2.
