I think the most liberal idea I thought of was Indonesian Rafale for Japan. Su-30MKM is good, but when 14.7 comes MKM’s likely going to stay behind with Su-30SM and a number of other aircraft.
Otherwise I’m personally expecting at some point the unique options such as FA-50, TAI Kaan, and KAI KF-21.
And while I do not expect the gen 5s next major.
FA-50 and Rafale are plausible options.
Not saying I want or don’t want these aircraft, after all, I’m not going to wishlist here. :)
Edit: And yes, this does imply France would get the same general variant of Rafale as well as it is a newer one.

I have no proof for this of course, so take it with a grain of salt, but I feel like the only reason the SEPv2 got the extra smoke grenades and LWS this update is because the US mains would explode if China was to get a better M1A2 than the US.
So there was almost another example of the Leopard 2A6 situation, seems like they learned something from it at least.
Any rumours on what the next top tier premium is gonna be for France air? We reckon a Dutch f16 that’ll be copy paste of the Japanese one?
