Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

KAAN seems far too conceptual still, where as the KF-21 has actually entered full production after validation.

If it flies it flies I mean look at the D.23 and flapjack.

Ehhhh, I dunno. Can we get a few more just to be sure?

Yeah but like… idk. Lol it just looks way too odd. The tail is mounted on top of the engine. Seems like they have quite a bit of kinks to work out before that thing is service worthy, but idk.

Well as I say depends if gaijin got the guts too, plus Japan will be eating good once Indonisia comes onto the scene.

Two F-35’s - In service
F-3 Tempest - Joint project between Britain, Italy & Japan
KF-21 - Malaysian interest, partly funded by Indonisia
KAAN - Malaysian interest, partly funded by Indonisia
Su-57E - Malaysian interest

i still find it a bit dumb that the AH-64E isnt behind the Mi-35

and thats only the stealth stuff that japan could get

Indonesia has shown interest in both the J-10 and JF-17 and they have an open contract for the Su-35 that they would only need to sign

and thats not even the aircraft that indonesia already has

they have the Su-27, Su-27SM, Su-30MK2, F-16A, F-16C and most recently they got Rafales delivered

japan really is going to be the nation where you can grind one nation for like 70 percent of top tier air frames

Oh yeah, forgot about the F-50 KAI.

remove all the other nations because Japan will have all their vehicles, while at it add Poland

I’ve prepared smth better :P

ignore BRs, couldn’t update these yet

The JF-17 is fake news and J-10B is not confirmed by any officials, unlike Su-35 and F-15EX.

Su-27SKM*

i know but for the sake of WT it would be esentially the same

but you are missing all of them in your tree

you should make a folder with the 27SK, Su-30MK2 and Su-27SKM

It is currently year 6 of Japan waiting to get a single TT prop, requested or not (the last one was added in 2020).

So yeah. Pretty much.

It wouldn’t be the same at all, with worse engines, no new cockpit and no guided A2G, but ok.

Besides Su-27SKM or Su-30MK2, there is no need for it and there are barely any who ask for these either.
