its true realism for gaijin is selective for some reason ?
for example tomcat is supposed to have a AOA switch same with Torndao but because its not foreseen in there plans it cant get one even if its historically inaccurate
Holes are not being created. The vehicles that filled certain BRs are still there, just in folders. But the purpose of this is to make more space for future vehicles, which goes for all nations yes.
They didn’t even bother making it the right variant. We got the M163, when Thailand only had the M163A1. The difference would be mainly visual as far as the game is concerned, but they are noticeable.
Same thing for the M60A3 TTS, which has modifications for a US ERA kit Thailand didn’t have. Worst part is the ROC version uses the same model but should be the same as the real Thai tank, so now 2/3 M60A3s in game are wrong.
next thing your gonna say is the M163 floats
Its not. Its ground RB.
It has nothing to do with any “issues”. The vast majority of Tornado issues have been resolved. Its purely progression.
They don’t have other aircraft between them or at the same BR in their lines, as you can see for your own screenshots. Otherwise that would equally be considered for them too. Its not the same case.
So where is the Finnish F-18 folder?
That’s was the part I was asking for thank you o7
How are the chacnes we will see similar changes in earlier ranks? Especially ranks 1-5 are missing hundreds if not thousands of vehicles, but the space to add them is very limited.
(Asking in general, not specifically next update)
Well, fingers crossed for:
- Corrected BRs, very well upvoted this last cycle
- Mk103 engines
- ALARM soon™
- Combat thrust
- Ground radars
to name but a few
So i guess if a nation didn’t get a lot of folders gaijin has no plans to add stuff to them, neat
No need for one currently with the upcoming changes.
where missing so many WW2 vehicles its not even funny but we dont get them cause ya know toptiers and premiums make way more money
No need? They are the same BR with vastly different levels of performance
We don’t have any plans to speak of for mass foldering of the lower ranks. That already took place some time ago and the additions since then have been expanding on that. Of course its always possible new folders may appear at some stage in the future. But it shouldn’t be expected en mass like it was in the past.
1 of these things is BR feedback, 2 of them are suggestions, one of those two is a weapon type not in game for any nation or aircraft. Thrust, no open reports on that.
All of them have absolutely nothing to do with why its being foldered.
My expectations is that gaijin will use these gaps to add some Indian jet’s to them so to have a nice spread of tech between Events/premiums and tt stuff
When it was realised that the Mig-21BIS uses combat thrust figures for its afterburners, and the devs confirmed this was intended (of course it was for a soviet aircraft) Gunjob asked about other aircraft and was told “some day” Im guessing Gunjob we’ll submit an internal if/when any other aircraft are allowed to be modeled with combat thrust. Though it would hopefully come with some refinements to the FM.
But nonetheless. BR correction and Mk103 engines could be fixed within days
Guess Britain air goes back to getting some focus for air for the next few updates then. They’ve been needing some new additions, really felt like they weren’t getting a whole lot the past year.
Tejas soon TM
As we have mentioned previously, there are no plans for this. They are as intended. So its not considered an open issue and hasn’t been for some time.
Which still actively remains one of the most stupid decisions ever. Given that it is the only one with these engines out of all 9 aircraft and hasnt even been remotely considered for nearly identical aircraft (IDS to IDS (1995)) but was considered essential to “create a feeling of progression” between two radically different airframes (GR1 to GR4)
Perhaps I need to work on a bug report for it. Especially given we have an end of life airframe in all other respects
