They’ve dismissed things before, many times, in fact and yet here we are.
A lot of what was denied in the past has since turned out to be true, so it’s hard to take their assurances at face value.

I can say with certainty that you don’t need to press that button.
Vehicles that are provided to Community Managers or Developers who contribute to the game receive special handling, they’re delivered fully set up from the start, so those extra steps aren’t required.
I got my own sources that I shall not disclose.
Even IF you ( or the devs) do grind a vehicle from stock to spade, the argument of having a sort of “balanced” game falls completely flat when you consider that a lot of the legacy vehicles severely underperform or become powercrept and are not touched even if their statistics show that they’re clearly just garbage.
On the other hand the under BRed premiums paint the picture of someone or something having zero feel for balance as well.
If the dev team truly “played the game IN ITS ENTIRETY” then we’d probably be seeing a more sensible balancing.
On the topic of official livestreams though, that’s just showcases that sadly don’t contribute to my or any good/sensible player’s view of the game.

Yes that is true, but I think the collection of ideas they have about what players like (like map size), and the general direction they have started to go with the game, is a strong indication that a feature like indirect fire on howitzers, is something that will not happen. It seems as if Gaijin wants War Thunder to be like World of Tanks/Planes/Ships combined into one, plus being slightly more realistic.

I’m not sure what the construction of the company is, and I hate to play devils advocate (especially for Gaijin), but I imagine that there is a group above the developers, who truly make the decisions. However, there is a serious case against these “decisions” being consumer friendly, and that these “decisions” are “totally” not driven by lining one’s own pockets.

Not at all. Oxy has frequently streamed progression through multiple nations and lineups from stock to spaded. I wasnt talking about dev streams, but his gameplay streams that he does frequently on his personal twitch account.

You know exactly what I meant with “they don’t play the game”. The disconnect from the playerbase or actual common sense is there and if my phrasing of it bothers you then idk lol.

Your phrasing doesn’t bother me. Factually incorrect and made up claims about myself, colleagues and the devs does. As it doesn’t help anyone.
If your “source” is entitely incorrect or providing you utterly false information, we are naturally going to correct that so others are not equally misinformed.
Also for your own benefit so you dont listen to someone who clearly has no “insider info” at all.
