chill, here’s a sundae for ya
Well, that is certainly a first time i see something like that.
@Smin1080p_WT i have a question
is there a reason why this bug report is marked as fixed despite the issue still being present in game currently on the python 5
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/a2MJBVXUUhxZ
just a worse engine from the T-72B iirc
My stomach hurts from just looking at that. Icky…
gimmie
So this vehicle can be labeled as “should have been TT, but instead locked behind event”? Surprised to not see more people complaining about that. As much as it sucks for unique vehicles to be locked behind events, if something is gonna take up several hours each day for a couple weeks, it sure as hell better be worth it. Especially since we have to wait a couple more months to start receiving actually new vehicles.
ye, shame the first event of 2026 is just a huge failure of a tank
As selfish as it is to say, I’m glad it wasn’t another US light tank this time.
which will make the event T-72B3 considerably worse than the T-72B3A. The T-72B3A already being the worst top tier MBT in game.
However hopefully that also means it will be placed around 11.0-11.7 somewhere.
Eh it’s a one off prototype that will be pretty hard to balance, so I’m fine with it as an event reward.
The last 10 updates have been air focused updates. Will we get a ground focused update ever?
in 5 years after 10th gen aircraft
We’ll get ground focused updates soon, but probably not in the way you are waiting to see
new CAS weaponry ofc
ARM counts imo :P
Was thinking about infantry, coz you know, those are ground forces as well
But I guess CAS counts as ground content lol
I wonder if they are still working on those Electronic Support Measures (ESM) that they were talking about when announcing that they would start adding more capable SAMs
They did claim that ARMs wouldn’t be a priority or necessity and that they would be looking into ESM stuff first
Im wondering if it could be a bit of a combo update.
- ARM
- Some much needed radar updates
- ECM
- CM updates (like finally fixing BOL and modeling chaff better)
- Reworking ARH seekers a bit
etc etc
Could all be adjacent features
Thinking about it more, ARM and ECM could share a lot of code depending on how offensive EW was modeled
Would be nice to finally see ECM or at least counter measure updates, but I feel like they would have talked about that stuff by now if they actually were working on that stuff
Maybe we’ll hear something about this in the next Community Update
Spoiler
I’ve got no hope for that tho, they’ll just throw (H)ARMs into the mix, as if SAMs/SPAAs weren’t completely screwed already
Hopefully when we do get ECM they don’t just keep it for aircraft. The lack of ECM in-game and specifically ground vehicles was one of the reasons why we got the neutured Brimstones and denied AGM-114L.
Maybe they can work it so tanks with ECM protect an area around them basically like DIRCM but a bit bigger so it can be used to cover allied tanks that may not have ECM capabilities. Then instead of just lobbing off all of your missiles at random you would need to coordinate with your team so that they can take out the tanks with ECM so that you can than use your missiles effectively.
Or maybe they could implement multi-spectral smoke.
