they should move the J-10A and folder with the 10C and slap that between the J-11 folder and 11B maybe

There is enough time this year to get to 5th gens though so long as every update adds things.
(Just looking at the US as a baseline obviously they won’t be the only nation getting things.)
March - F-16C PoBIT
June - F/A-18E Block 3 or F/A-18XT
September - F-15EX
November - F-22 + Early 5th gen
December - F-35 swarm + the lonely J-35.

I think the issue is, it’s hard to place 5th gen. the frist set make sence to drop in a big update and the Oct/Nov one isn’t usually considered one, but at the same time, for the F-35s for everyone in the next update right after and that doesn’t scream Oct/Nov either.

Yeah, it would make sense, either that or come with ARMs which could include a total overhaul of radars, chaff (or CMs generally) and also include ECM.

I might do a concept with my proposed layout, but the end of the lines will end up being:
Aerial superiority (currently J-11B): J-20A
Taiwanese line: (currently J-10C): F-16V
Light fighter line (branch from J-10A): J-35A
Multirole/EW line (currently JH7A): J-16D or J-20S
Naval line (Branch from J-11): J-15T or Naval J-35
Dont you want your , F/A-18 (early), F-18A (late), F-/A-18C (neither early nor late), F-18E (early), F-18E (Late) and EA-18G?
