still the cms and speed of the smt can win if played right. i play the 29smt and i have no problemo going really fast at such low alt.
29smt can reach 1800kph at 6km alt while su30 are stuck at 1500kph
I’m guessing you don’t count squadron liveries since that’s what most of them are for the hornets

it gets extra CM pods, that you have to research
0+6 vs 4+6 is a massive upgrade. As it gives you a great deal more flexibility. Especially given at that BR you will fight plenty of IR only aircraft.

while the Su-30 has significantly better retention than the 29
means that the Su-30 will keep its speed way better than the 29

Fully plan to next BR cahnge which should hopefully be in a few weeks. As do i suspect will many others. But like most things, it will be ignored because its a soviet premium.
if it was really baised, the bmpt would still be at 10.3.
it will be ignored bc if they put the 30MK2 or 30MKK any higher it could easily be considered a top tier premium which gaijin has promised not to add
