If we think, we still have quite a large 4th gen and ++ to be added. Also other country’s to be also added.
New feature such as sead and new type of missions still missing.

Like what ? Sead?? All i can see current gen missing is sead and anti ship. Both are not even ready in game.
We dont even have modern ship to begin with.
Sead missile will kill the game, they need their own environment to work with sams such as patriot or s300.
Yeah I’m thinking this might be the case too. There just isn’t anything that’s really big enough for the Christmas update this year like 5th gens.
My guess would be (just using US as a baseline obviously other nations would also get stuff but I’m too tired to list everything so people just use your imagination for stuff for other nations):
March - SEAD/ARM + F-16C PoBIT / Block 70 + other nation alternatives
June - ECM + dedicated ECM aircraft like the E/A-18G.
September - F-15EX
November - F-22 + Su-57 + J-20
December - F-35’s for all + J-35
Unless Gaijin decides to do some dedicated updates like strat bombers, COIN aircraft, armed trainers, WW1, infantry based aircraft etc then I don’t think there’s enough to pad out this year and possibly most of next year until we get 5th gens.

Why would you have to “wait and see” is an answer from the Official Warthunder stream not enough? Would Smin saying it not be enough?

Mate, I’m against (H)ARMs as well, but they will probably add those anyways
Modern ships might end up never happening, because of how modern day ship to ship combat works (long range missile slinging with literally nothing to do, but wait)
Working on a SEAD mode won’t be a pre-requisite for 5th gen planes
If you are talking about things that should have been added before 4th gen, how about ECM? Counter measure reworks? Game mode adjustments to make them fit modern day combat?

Do you expect anyone from Gaijin making official statements to announce “Yes, 5th gen is coming this year”?
Because sometimes plans change and things could get pushed back / brought forward. There’s also the chance that after the “2026 guess list” that they want to deny 5th gens to then “surprise” players with it.

BVVD himself said that SEAD missile were already surpassed by the KH38MT lol, so i don’t think that’ll change much.
Take it against a buk for example, you’d need to hit each vehicle to actually kill it, they’re slow and probably easily intercepted.
LOAL will actually kill the game, LMUR/JAGM/Spice/Kh all launched on GPS and they self acquire targets
I expect them not to answer the question at all if it was coming this year. But because they denied it this year, I don’t see a reason to doubt them. Things have been leaked by the leakers before only for developers to push it back.
Idk i would think SEAD and ECM should be something that should come together as they are kinda meant to work together. But then again this is gaijin so…
More often than not, things usually get pushed back than brought forward compared with what the leakers have said. For example J-11B and J-10C were pushed back from their additions, and as the leakers said, it’s always their guesses compared to what the official lines might be.
