METEOR + IRIS-T on an EFT is likely Superior to an F-35 with 9X and 120C5/C8 so Im calmer about this
maybe this is the better choice after all, with F-35 only there would be less need for Modern Missiles on the EFT
I feel F35 will come when they add next gen missiles to stealth units but maybe not.
F35 with Meteor will be interesting also JSM since Kongsberg did the testing with the F35
Germany is Permanently Denied to Use METEOR or IRIS on their F-35s
we ordered AIM-120C8 and AIM-9X for this purpose
from the Ingame nations only UK will be allowed to use METEOR on their F-35s and I dont see why Gaijin would make this Ahistorical change
For balance i could see Meteor for everyone but i could see ground strike ordinance be restricted for the sake of artificial differences

either way we currently expect F-35 to only come 1-2 Majoy updates after F-22 and Similar Chinese and Russian Aircraft
F-35 will be an F/A-18C like addition then, at best a Sidenote in the Killfeed

the Swiss only receive those in a year or two too
both fleets mean we wont get them for a while unless Gaijin changes their stance, but since Germany is the ONLY nation in game that this is impacted by I believe its fully Intentional and thus find it unlikely they’ll change their mind at all, because it was explicitly mentioned
The swiss are not receiving anything they have 0 contract…
They will end up last on the list when they will finally fully confirm their order.
I mean its realistically in the same boat as Sweden where they didn’t have anything for a FnF helicopter but that could change now with Denmark getting Hellfire rails for their MH-60’s again i still hope gaijin ignores the order and adds it regardless for Germany

Hornets came to USA, Germany, Britain, Sweden and Japan and can still come to Italy through Spain. F-35s can come to USA, Germany, Britain, Japan, Italy, France, Sweden and Israel. It will be even worse than the Hornets

Oh alright then. Well afaik it does have insane avionics and the payload is pretty decent if you give up stealth, but the flight performance will be pretty bad indeed.
