Fair
It’s too early for the AIM-260 to be added anyways (probably not in terms of performance, but in terms of development)

I mean if it’s been test fired from an aircraft that is in game then imo it’s fair for it to be in game
i mean the us got like a 4 different varinat of aim120 to add so no need to mention aim260 until solid proof come to life
C-7, D, and D-3 only really. Only 2 are major upgrades and the D-3 is slightly better across the board than the D
we got aim120A and B so yeah 3 major
issue is that there isnt any info on it
i dont even think the requirements for it are known
Yeah other than Chinese papers on it I don’t think we have any official information on it lol
Yeah, I feel like the AIM-120D-3 would be enough until the AIM-260 “matures” a bit more
The US’ Super Hornets can get the AIM-174 if Gaijin feels the need to add extra long range missiles
(seriously tho, why would you use that when the AIM-120D-3 already covers the entire map in terms of range and has a higher top speed than the AIM-174)
aim174 wont be as good as we think, its limited by the f18 wieght and slow speed. heck even by the radar considering gaijin wont add DL between players.
It looks like it might have been tested on an F-18.
To sum it up VX-31 (the same test squadron that has been seen with AIM-174) put a post up on Facebook awarding Lieutenant Commander Orion Flurett for coordinating live fire tests of AIM-260. It’s not clear what aircraft fired it but since it was involving VX-31 chances are it was an F-18.
It’s already meant to do fine at lower speeds. It’s an SM-6 which is an insane missile already
still being held back by the f18 poor radar
Seems that they both line-up in-game. At 10,000m alt and 1,300km/h for both launch aircraft and target, they each do 80km and 110km respectively. Tested on statshark.
So whatever the maximum range listed for R-77M is likely to be in that launch condition as well.
would make sense since at those speeds the inital launches would happen in a BVR engagement
unless its a Premium they can make money from like the FR-1 or DB-LK wich where the only WW II/low tier additions last Update (ships excluded).
They will stay at Rank VII and Gaijin will add Rank VIII premiums lol
Gotta have a premium SM2 at 13.7
The prem Su30s are already rank 8, are they not?
su27sm3 still missing
Yeah, we already have plenty Rank VIII premiums
3 F/A-18s, 2 Su-30s, the F-20, the Bison, a F-2, a JH-7A, a MiG-29, a F-16 and a JA37
On a sidenote, France is the only nation without a Rank VIII premium
