Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

The hulls, as far as I could find, are all still built at the GDLS-C plant in Ontario. But it wasn’t who built it that’s the issue, but it being domestic to Canada. I bet if Canada was alrady part of a tree(ex, it was the first UK sub-tree over ZA or in some sort of new tree), you’d have most of your LAVs.

In good 'ld London ey, I do believe then the UK has more of a right then the US has lol

if you put together a lego set can you really claim that you invented it?

Hey now, let’s take it easy big guy. Each nation who operates it has just as big of a right as the other.

UK doesnt operate it though lol

I mean when you eat something and you digest it do you call it your own crap ?

Sorry been watching too much Ze Frank

Canada does though, and that would probably end up in UK (or Germany, I really don’t know what’s going on there).

they use it lol and build 50% or more for it.

i guess india doesnt own t90 since its not their equipment

Isn’t the LAV-25 not called the LAV-25 in Canada though? Isn’t it a Coyote or something?

they call them LAV-II i think, the Coyote is a version of it iirc

but arguing the UK should have them just because Canada does final assembly and operates them doesnt make sense either.

not really. most of the important parts are American

LAV-II with the Coyote and Bison sub-variants.

Coyote is the version that could come to WT.

Why are you even arguing over specific pieces of the vehicle and how that dictates where it goes? Both the US and Canada operate LAV-25’s, so both the US and UK (through Canada, I think Canada is sub tree of UK?) get LAV-25’s (in some capacity, even if it’s through a different name).

it is not a subtree. its pointless copy paste, they are just going to whine about the bushmaster anyways

Does this mean no more Skink and RAM in your tech tree because they’re pointless C&P ?

fair trade to remove all pointless US copy paste across the game

Canada is sadly not a sub-tree of anyone, but Gaijin has sorta implied UK does get priority placement pick for Commonwealth equipment.

With Canada, Australia and New Zealand operating or have operated LAVs before, it makes sense for some of the LAVs from these nations to end up in the UK.
