The only time I play that low is to play a new nation or to seal club for SL
ASRAAM goes on outer pylons which are common between all the F-35’s
Yeah they are but theyre some of the only WW1 focused games
The flight model for the mode was far from accurate for the fighters they included. They likely just slapped any old stuff on and called it a day.
Which would be negated by having other aircraft of the same era to fight against.
The tanks were never made to fight against other tanks, that’s why they were crap in the WW1 event. They were built for attacking the trenches so those would absolutely work if given a suitable infantry mode.
I can’t really imagine they would change that at all lol
Your opponents also being slow af and dealing next to no damage with their guns doesn’t really negate that
Again, they currently aren’t even considering WW2 infantry.
while true the point was more them being different variants idk if gaijin will make all weapons from all variants available to every variant, like the Meteor has only been integrated on the A and B meaning the C (which I think only the US operate) wouldn’t have meteor
relevant software is the same iirc, and the bays on the F-35C are the same size as on the F-35A. the A has big bays and a gun, the C has big bays but no gun, and the B has small bays and no gun
I can see gaijin claiming that they need proof of it being mounted on each variant since the variants are quite different but I could be wrong and they pull a gripen and EFT and let it be mounted on all variants
Well…
There is nothing inherently wrong with the Idea of a WW1 mode and WW2 era stuff is certainly very popular but Gaijin will ultimately focus on what they know will draw in more players and make money. And whether you like it or not a larger crowd of people tend to be more interested in more modern stuff then WW2 and WW1 is going to be even less popular than that.
Its also worth remembering that the people who visit the forums are a very small part of the entire WT player base so saying “oh my suggestion got x number of votes/views so clearly the Idea is a popular one” is a stretch and even then if you look at any suggestion for more modern eras and equipment they will to nobody’s surprise be more popular.
hmm yes the triple AAA “WW1” shooter that’s really just a WW2 shooter wearing a fancy outfit. Its kinda a terrible example.
if you look at actual WW1 games particularly those focused on Infantry or planes you will very quickly see they are incredibly niche and have a very small player base compared to WW2 or anything more modern.
Like I wouldn’t be apposed to the Idea of a properly done WW1 era and modes but like… I am not holding my breath anytime soon.
Anyone else noticed Russian breaches are just so resilient to damage, has there been a change recently I swear 40mm autocannon darts zero effect, same 40mm autocannon disables the barrel and breach on an M1.
Feels like something is off right now with Russian barrel toughness and breach armour. Surely all breaches have the same armour for balance?
yeah, 64E’s all getting LDIRCM is more egregious than F-35’s all getting the same missiles. Meteor inetgration is only coming as part of Block 4 which is going to come to all or at least all the combat US F-35 fleet
I find shooting below the gun and not the side works for me in the CV90s fine enough. I also try to just knock out the barrel before anything else because trying to use autocannons to breech anything is just inherently more unreliable than just going for the gun.
I think the CV-90 for some reason has more pen than the Ajax.
The 40mm hardly touches barrels with the T-90/80 able to just fire back before you have destroyed the barrel. A 40mm projectile should be doing more damage.
I am very much expecting Gaijin to give all the F-35s the Eurofighter treatment so while Meteor is kinda up in the air due to LM being a sleezebag with integration i can very much see all of them getting ASRAAM since the UK did integrate those and uses them. But if Gaijin does give the F-35 Meteor I wouldnt be to surprised if all of them got Meteor.
Can almost see them all having the same armament.
Should it not?
People have stated the CTAS 40mm is missing penetration.
They shouldve just separated the eras. OG tree until Korean War (as it originally was), new tree Early Cold War to now.
I imagine they both are as are all modern tank shells tbf
