We currently have late 4th gens (4.5th gen) and the F-22 would be very early 5th gen, so it’s not that different of a situation

I mean it would be ten times worse if it just showed up in a trailer. It would be much better to address it sooner rather than later.

It would be an issue for balance later like the F-16A, with relatively weak missiles but a very strong FM and defensive features. But if it came I would not complain since it’s a jet I like, and we would probably see a later F-22 pretty shortly after that with better missiles and an HMD. I just don’t think it’s very likely given what has been leaked and announced
The leaks aren’t official though, which is the biggest problem.
Gaijin would have to openly communicate with the community, but they don’t seem to want to do that.
If they were official then it would became an official statement not a leak because it’s was via an official source

Obviously not official but they could atleast re-clarify the rules on aircraft additions now that there is a chance it’s coming.
We seen this happen before with the leak of Singapore going to China. People complained, Gaijin said nothing, then a year later Gaijin announced exactly what was leaked and then came more complaining.
